GRANTSBURG––Authorities executed a search warrant in the Village of Grantsburg and were able to recover methamphetamine, marijuana and various drug paraphernalia. Three individuals were arrested following the search warrant.

The warrant was executed on the afternoon of June 30 after police received a tip about a large amount of methamphetamine at 317 S. Pine Street in Grantsburg the day before. Shane J. Fagnan, 23, Grantsburg, was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine with intent, felony possession of synthetic marijuana with intent, felony know-

ingly keeping a drug house and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Michaela B. Payment, 22, Waite Park Minn., was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine with intent, misdemeanor possession of synthetic

Single vehicle fatal crash in Danbury

On July 8, 2019 at approximately 6:44 a.m. it was reported that there was a one vehicle crash involving a tree on STH 35 just south of Danbury in Swiss Township. Danbury Fire, Webster Fire, Webster First Responders, North Memorial Ambulance, Burnett County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol were dispatched to the scene. From the initial investigation it appears that the vehicle was southbound on STH 35 when it left the roadway into the west ditch then struck a tree. There was one occupant in the truck and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the driver is currently being withheld pending further investigation and notification of family members.

four years, but now they're "exposed"! "Yes, we've kept it quiet," says John Listerud, who is the group's co-founder with his wife, Diane. "She asked [library director] Patti [Meyer] if we could

play back in the community room. I thought Patty would have a fit. Instead, she said 'That's a great idea!.'" The informal group numbers around 15 or so. Anywhere from two to 12
