Happy September! This summer, our volunteers were finally able to start getting back to doing what they do best… volunteering! For the past two months, a number of our youth volunteers helped serve meals to seniors, ran programs at the Library, and even organized a local athletic gear sale with the Burbank Coordinating Council. Thank you all for taking some time out of your busy summers to help with these programs and special events. It’s great to see you all back in action! Our Senior Nutrition Program is still looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help prepare and distribute meals to our local seniors. If you are interested, or if you know someone who might be, check out page 3 for more information on how you can help. The Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC) is also currently looking for volunteers to assist with their pantry and client services. For more information on how you can serve the community through BTAC, check out the flyer on page 4. If you didn’t get a chance to volunteer this summer, don’t worry! Keep an eye out for emails from BVP with new opportunities and information on how you can get involved as we start the fall season. As always, thank you all so much for continuing to dedicate your time to the community through BVP. We greatly appreciate each and every one of you! Best, The BVP Team Marcus & Lacey
