The business was started in Victoria, BC Canada by two returning WWII Veterans. While serving in the Canadian Air Force, these two men had witnessed, first hand, the development of Plas cs used in the avia on industry. When they returned from the war, the Veterans opened up a small Plas cs fabrica on shop. It was from these roots that business grew it’s product offering and in the 80’s a Franchise system was developed.

Today Industrial Plas cs & Paints is a chain of outlet stores located throughout Western Canada. In addi on to the sales of specialty hardware products , each loca on has a small Fabrica on Shop where we can add value to the plas c sheet that we sell.

Processing of Your Application Our senior management will review your application assessing your fit as a Franchise Operator. They will consider your experience, adaptability, ability to grasp business and financial concepts and your financial health.

Sign an Interim Franchise Agreement Before we can provide you further details about the Industrial Plastics & Paints Franchise System we will ask you to sign an Agreement that will protect your territory and ensure information disclosed to you, will remain confidential.

Disclosure of Operational & Financial Information During this stage we will provide you with Financial and Operational information about Industrial Plastics & Paints start-ups so you can make an informed decision about your potential as a Franchise Owner.

Identify a Potential Location within the Territory Once you have thoroughly digested the Disclosure and re-confirmed your interest to proceed, then together we will begin the process of finding a suitable location for your store.

Negotiate an Acceptable Lease When a suitable location has been found we will guide you through the lease negotiation with the Landlord, to make sure that your operation has a lease rate that works with your financial projections.

Execution of Franchise Agreement and Funding Now that all of the above is in place and you have deposited the previously agreed upon Start-up Funds into our bank account, we can execute the full Franchise Agreement, the Lease and the other Contracts required to open your Store

Acquisition of Inventory, Fixtures and Assets With all of the paperwork now complete together we can focus on getting the store ready to open. We will assemble the opening inventory, acquire the fixtures and equipment that you will need, arrange for the utilities, and plan a Grand Opening Event

This process will take between 3-4 Months to complete and longer in some cases.
