Achievements with students’ Entrepreneurships/Projects 1.

SEE PAKISTAN COMPETITION

Students from the Department of Chemistry participated in SEE Pakistan 2022, National Startup Championship (NSC) held in the Expo Center Lahore 18 August 2022. SEE Pakistan 2022 is an embodiment of the entrepreneurial dreams of Pakistani youth. The Association of Private, as well as Government Sector Universities of Pakistan, offers a unique platform for emerging entrepreneurs to exhibit their innovative products at SEE Pakistan and participate in the National Startup Championship (NSC). This event also intends to acknowledge the efforts of real National superheroes who are contributing to uplifting the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Pakistan. National Startup Championship (NSC) 2022, supported by national and cross-country institutional partners to identify the most innovative startups whose projects help accelerate the achievement of innovation in entrepreneurship. In this context, out of 1000 startups, 100 startups were selected after the regional and final round, a project of the “Smart Organic Soap” was selected from the Department of chemistry FBS faculty, under the supervision of Dr. Mujtaba Ellahi with team member Ajab Khan Achakzai and Miss Mahnoor Gull from BUITEMS; secured special appreciation certificates with a cash prize.

Research Progress Report 2022 of Dr. Mujtaba Ellahi 2. Annual Dice AFS 2022@MNSUAM Multan The students from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Basic Sciences (FBS) participated with the supervision of ORIC BUITEMS, Deputy Director Syed Usman Shah and Assistant Director Sahar Munir in the Annual Dice AFS 2022 hosted by Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture Multan (MNSUAM) on October 30 and 31, 2022.

More than 300 projects were presented at the event by 60+ public and private sector universities from all over Pakistan. The students presented two projects in different categories.

The students received much appreciation from Prof. Dr. Asif Ali (T.I.) VC, MNSUAM, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed, CEO, DICE, Pakistan, and other notable guests and participants. The eco-friendly thin PET/ITO coated thin films project secured the second prize of Rs. 60,000, and the eco-friendly biodegradable organic paper soap secured a special prize of Rs. 10,000. Both projects are led by Dr. Mujtaba Ellahi with team members Ajab Khan Achakzai, Mahnoor Gull, Syed Nasruddin, and Khalid Khan.
