This year has been exceptional for our campaigns. As of March 2024, we have completed campaigns funding the Studer Family Children’s Hospital in Pensacola, a CT Scanner at Sacred Heart Emerald Coast in Miramar Beach, and a Women’s Diagnostic Center at Sacred Heart Gulf in Port St. Joe. Your contribution is not just a financial gift; it is a testament to your belief in the impact of our mission. It reflects your commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve. Events Overview 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic Sacred Heart Foundation’s 2023 Annual Charity Golf Classic was a rousing success that brought a conclusion to the Foundation’s $2.3 million fundraising campaign. Tournament proceeds catapulted the Foundation’s campaign over the top, raising enough to complete the purchase of the newly installed CT Scanner at Emerald Coast Hospital. Players, donors, volunteers, and sponsors came together from all over Northwest Florida to watch, champion the charity benefit, and cheer the 32 teams of players on to success on a beautiful fall day at Burnt Pine Golf Club.

Generously presented by Silver Sands Premium Outlets, Grand Boulevard, and the Howard Group, this esteemed event supported a vital piece of equipment that would impact lives for years, reassuring patients and families that this next level of care would be available to all when needed. This event was led by Committee Chair Bill Tate, supported by Jon Vice, Joe Capers, Marie McKenna, Karen Wade-Allen, Cory Fosdyck, and Mary Pat Cedarleaf. Having raised more than $3 million in the past twenty years, the players and supporters of the annual Classic have been an integral part of the success of Sacred Heart Emerald Coast.

Emerald Ball Sacred Heart Foundation’s Emerald Ball was held on Saturday, April 6th, bringing together a collective audience of donors, sponsors, and supporters in a sea of emerald green to support Emerald Coast Hospital’s NICU, our area’s first and only source of Level II neonatal care for premature and critically ill babies.

Sacred Heart Emerald Coast is grateful for the generous giving that helps us provide more hope for parents, more healing for vulnerable infants, and the divine blessing of more miracles in our NICU.

Howard Group, Grand Boulevard, and Silver Sands Premium Outlets graciously presented this gorgeous evening at the Hilton Sandestin where guests enjoyed a curated dinner, danced to Mr. Big and the Rhythm Sisters, and toasted to the generosity and support that has enabled worldclass healthcare in our community.

Cat Country Cares for Kids Radiothon The 5th Annual Cat Country Cares for Kids Radiothon, held on Friday, August 25th at Cordova Mall, marked another successful year of community support and generosity. This energetic 13-hour event, hosted at the Center Court of Cordova Mall, was a testament to the Pensacola area's dedication to philanthropy and compassion.

Cat Country 98.7 radio personalities, Brent Lane and Mel McCrae, alongside Sue Straughn from WEAR ABC 3 News, guided listeners and viewers through touching stories from patient families, physicians, and leaders. These narratives highlighted the profound impact of Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart on the local community.

As a Children’s Miracle Network event, Radiothon has consistently raised funds and awareness for critical causes over the years. In 2023 alone, the event raised over $219,000.

This remarkable achievement underscores the unwavering support and generosity of the community, showcasing their commitment to helping sick and injured babies in their time of need.
