G.E. Silicone Seolont
General Electric's new silicone construction sealant, designed for permanently caulking and sealing in commercial buildings, residential and industrial new construction and remedial work is now available in standard 11 oz. caulking cartridges in an attractive display rack for distribution through lumber yards and building supply stores.
The material, which is applied in the form of soft paste, turns to a solid rubber on exposure to air. It is designed to serve a variety of homeowner needs. Once in place, it stays flexible and permanently resists shrinking, chipping, drying out and discoloring. The sealant is waterproof and resists temperatures up to 300'F.
General Electric is making the material available through its regional distributors. Itre display racks hold 24 cartridges evenly distributed between four colors-white, clear, aluminum and neutral. The cartridges fft any standard caulking gun. Suggested retail price is $3.95 a cartridge.

Hordwood Molding Decler Disploy
BlendTrim, a nevr low-priced line of prefinished hardwood moldings from E. L. Bruce Co., is being featured irr a dealer display that Brtce officials claim "does what the retail sales clerk sometimes forgets to do."
"This display," according to Bruce sales promotion manag'er John Malmo, "a,sks for the order, and illustrates how to use prefinished molding."
Most molding displays, Mr. Malmo points out are jurt llbel€d with lhe makeds lrssle, but no hint of the product's use. The result is that the molding boards have no meaning to the average do-it-yourselfer, so that unless a clerk suggests a rrolding purchase the display is of little use.
Textured Tile Resembles Plaster to Simpson Timber Company's complete line of ceiling tile products.
Called Frosted Petit, the new ceiling tile, which has a textured plaster appearance, has contrasting tones of white hues which add further elegiance to any new ceiling when the tile is installed. The tiny perforations absorb sound striking the tile.

The new BlendTrim display features a headline larger than the product name that urges: 'Panel like a Pro BlendTrim Completes the Job.' The idea, according to Mr. Malmo, is that a homeowner who is buying paneling may spot the molding display, and after reading the headline might ask the retail salesman if, since he is buying paneling, he needs molding, too. This would give the clerk an opportunity for a sale for which he might have otherwise forgotten to ask.
Nine molding profiles are exhibited on the display board which is 16" wide and 24" high. The display is designed for hanging on the wall, and is light green, dark brown and white in color. Molding sizes are also shown, as well as a circle for dealer pricing by the lineal foot.
