NY FAMILY that particularly enjoys t-heir privacy and outdoor living will be enchanted by this plan. Here is a home that has been desigrred for casual country living. It turns its back to the street as the family, living and master bedroom all face the rear yard through glass doors which open to the huge patio. bedhave

From the entry and its double front doors, traffic is channeled to every area of the house and even to the patio at the rear oI the plan! This is really a centerhall plan extraordinary.

The kitchen and informal dining room have been combined with only cabinets separating the two areas. Part of these cabinets is a wide eating bar which can be used efficiently for the serving of family meals. The kitchen has absolutely everything. The wide pantry is ideal for storing large quantities of canned and bottled goods as well as other supplies' There is access from the kitchen to both the garage and service.

The feature of the large living room is the recessed fireplace which is surrounded by three cloaets. This, plus the halls, isolate the living room from the remainder of the house.

The ability to close ofi the family room from the rest of the home when desired adds tremendous flexibility to the design as does the location of the family room. Al' though there are four openings to this room, they have been arranged so they interfere very little with wall space and furniture arrangement.

To increase privacy, none of the rooms has a common wall. They all an unusual amount of wardrobe space. Especially the master bedroom which has two wardrobes, back-to-back.

The luxurious master bedroom suite consists of a dressing room with a table plus a private bath. A high window at one end of the bedroom provides cross ventila.tion but does not interfere with furniture arrangement.
