All through the ages the wise words of the philosophers have been treasured and handed down to us. Yet every now and then from the mouth of some humble member of the colored race there come to us crumbs of wisdom that would well grace the best pages of the history of human philosophy. For instance:

Be Rebuilt and Marketed Dealers in Mat Form

Washington, D. C., March 3.-Most of Boulder City, Nev., the model village built to house workers on Boulder Dam, has been purchased by a group of Salt Lake City, Utah, business men, according to a report made to the Federal Housing Administration director for the state. More than 600 houses and many of the larger service buildings will be torn down, rebuilt and marketed in six western states. The new company plans to taze the buildings and build modern two, three or four room structures to be erected in various cities throughout these states. It is the plan to build these homes to conform to Federal Housing Administration regulations in order that they might be sold under the Single Mortgage System. More than 3,000,@0 feet of lumber will be moved and 5@ car loads of material will be taken away.

Tallest Tree Is Redwood

Enoch P. French, superintendent of the Northwest State Park district, says he has found the world's tallest treea redwood towering 364 feet in the air. & Co.. Mr. French spent several months measuring trees in the a busi- Redwood "forest of giants." He said "runners up" to the champion measured as high as 36O feet.
