Six More Groups Join in Plec for New Pcnqmc Ccncl Tolls Formulc
Six ncu,gr()ups have lleetr reported, rvho have a<lded their r,oicc to the l'acific Coast's plea for :r fair antl equitable I)anama Canal tolls formula, according to a bulletin issued by the I'acific American Steamship Association. All have passed resollrtions and sent tltem to Congressional committee nrembers.

Thc nerv gr()ups are Alameda Ch:rmber of Commerce; Associatetl General Contractors of America. Mountain Pacific Chapter (Scattle) ; California Association of Port Authorities; Califomia Fish Canners Association, Inc., Foreign Trade Association of Southern California; and the I-os Angeles 'I'raffic Managers Conference.
The California Association of Port Authorities had alrcady gone on record before Congress. Their resolution \\'as a formalized confirmation on their previous stand.
About 50 organizations in California, Oregon and Washington have passed resolutions urging a new formula for computing Panama Canal tolls.
