Annual WBMA Products Show
"Customer service, not lip service" will be the slogan for the Western Building Material Association's annual convention/building products showcase, Nov. 10-13 at the Tacoma Sheraton Hotel, Tacoma, Wa.
In addition to supplier, product and service exhibits, the meeting will feature outstanding industry seminars and speakers. Dave McCulloch, Computer System Dynamics, Denver, Co., will moderate quick pitch selling talks by exhibitors to get things rolling after the welcome breakfast Nov. I l. The "Under The Big Top" building products showcase at the Sheraton Bicentennial Pavilion will be open from ll:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Beau Hamilton, president, The Hamilton Co., Bellevue. Wa.. will pose the question "HowDo You Know When You Are Doing Good?" at the keynote breakfast on the second day of meetings. Following his summary of practical ways to measure customer service, the building products showcase will be open from 9 a.m. to noon. An awards luncheon follows.
Afternoon speakers: Charles A. Mouser, Camco, Inc., Crewe, Va., on customer service and Thao Tiedt and Michael R. Rayton, labor relations attorneys from Seattle, Wa.. discussing personnel law changes.
Kurt Kilpatrick will entertain at the presidents banquet that evening.
Thursday sessions will open with a seminar on "Positioning Strategies of the Nineties" conducted by Brent Taylor, president, The Taylor Group, Greensboro, N.C. Spouses will be honored at lunch with Doris

A sub theme of the meeting, entertainment, fellowship and idea sharing with other dealers and suppliers, will be furthered during the Western All Industry Reception Saturday evening, Nov. 10, and one open evening. A program of tours and speakers has been arranged for spouses.

NAWLA Management Program
The North American Wholesale Lumber Association (NAWLA) , in conjunction with the University of Virginia Mclntire School of Commerce, will hold its Executive Management Institute, Jan. 6-l I, 1991, on the University of Virginia campus. Charlottesville. Va.
