Dear Dave: Thank you for running that very nice and flattering article. (The Merchant Magazine, Sept. P. 12). I appreciate it very much and I have been getting a great deal of comment from my friends and associates about it. It obviously will take some doing on my part to live up to all of those nice things that were said about me.

I am wondering, Dave, if you could send me about four copies of this issue since I have a few relatives and business associates who won't really believe these things unless they see it in print.

Incidently, our Hoo-Hoo Memorial Grove dedication went off quite well as you have probably heard from your representatives present and I am quite sure that those who were interested in the purposes of this dedication urere pleased with the day. So I wish to thank you very much for having both the reception at Eureka on Friday evening and the Saturday dedication at the Grove, so well covered, Sincerely,

Dear Dave:

We were surprised and delighted to see the coverage of the PGL Everett Open House in the September issue of The Merchant. The pictures and the story were great!

W'e've never quite considered PGL Company as a "chain" operation as your caption to the artiele read, and wondered what firm you were refering to in the index. Lo and Behold, it was us!!!

Thanks again for excellent coverage ofttnumber nine" opening.

Cordially,
