Time to Speak Up

It is important for all business people to take a stand against the unfair political influence of the union bosses.

I recently took such a stand against the union's unreasonable demands and lost a considerable amount of money. Our country can no longer put up with the constant decline in productivity and the demand for more pay for doing less. We can no longer put up with the union's blatant disrespect of law and order. The unions are not in favor ofthese laws, yet, they demand that we obey other laws which they have sponsored for the decline of our country,

Can't more Americans speak up? Write your elected officials and send copies of these letters to several local chambers of commerce, other organizations and elected officials. Indicate that you are sending copies and you will get answers.

Dipping into the till by dishonest employees can be combated by using television surveillance and shopper services, padding cash drawers to create deliberate overages and shortages, conducting surprise audits and cash counts and sending audit letters to customers to verify refunds.

To protect your goods, security people are able to apply outside surveillance and polygraph tests and set traps using unwashable dyes, fluorescent dyes and chemical sprays.

Because public law enforcement agencies are often ill-equipped to handle white collar crime investigations, an in-house security staff is useful to curtail plundering.

Conditions Can Invite Theft

Retail researchers have found that if a store has sloppy maintenance, inadequate lighting, tall displays, multiple exits, and lacks proper sanitary facilities, it's probably a target for internal theft.
