f)URassociation's 50th Golden An- niversary annual convention, being held May 13-15 at the Mountain Shadows Hotel, Scottsdale, .Lrizona, is in its final planning stages as announced by Marty Wist, convention chairman. The committee has been working hard to make this one of the best to celebrate our 50th convention.
We have a more complete business program and also added social events to attract more member participation.
The business programs are filled with a lot of talent to key into our convention theme "You and Your future.t'
Featured on our program are;
Keynoter: Gene Brewer, president of Southwest Forest Industries, to start our opening business session May 14, followed by a panel discussion entitled "Safety pays Plus Dollars" moderated by Ray Wells, director of industrial relations, The O'Malley Companies.
Friday afternoon we are featuring a sales stimulating program. Speakers are Rev. Harry E. Olsen Jr., Fargo, No. Dakota, and Everett Yost, a lumber dealer from Omaha. Nebraska.

Saturday morning we will hear a panel concerning components and modular housing entitled "New Concepts in Home Building-Your Future" moderated by Richard Bullock, exec. vp., National Association of Building Manufacturers, Washington, D.C.
Added to our program is a Saturday luncheon honoring our association's past presidents with Joseph Mcleveen, president of the NLBMDA (National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association) as our speaker.
The convention closes Saturday, May 15, with our annual banquet with Calvin Dean Johnson, one of America's {ive top speakers on our program.
In The Merchant's April issue will be featured a complete program of the 1971 affair.
We are urging our dealers to plan ahead to attend our 50th annual convention.
