More than 40 managers and sales representatives from Madereria Del Norte, S.A/ De C.V., Ciudad la6rez, Mexico, attended two lumber, plywood and OSB faining sessions conducted by American Plywood Association and Georgia-Pacific representatives.

Interest in the U.S. produced products was high since they account for the majority of Del Norte's product line with lesser amounts of Mexican produced plywood and lumber. Mike Flores, Georgia-Pacific Corp., El Paso, Tx., coordinated the meetings and acted as an interpretor for APA representatives. Plywood and APA trademarks were among topics discussed during the May 10-ll sessions at a Del Norte location in Iafuez.

Del Norte, a wrehouse-type operation similar to Home Depot, has three stores with a fourth under construction. It is considered the leading rctailsr in Judrez.
