"We're excited about L-P's expanding Inner-Seal line of products and looked for just the right place to show them offto builders and homebuyers in Mobile," Hallett said. "Rick Stabler is immediate past president of Mobile Homebuilders Association and a current director of the NAHB. He has a reputation for using quality products and demanding excellent workmanship," Hallett added.
L-P's Inner-Seal products are all based on oriented strand board (OSB). Louisiana-Pacific was the first major U.S. manufacturer to produce the product and is now the leading producer and the forerunner in product advancements.
The company's Inner-Seal line includes sheathing panels for roof and sidewall construction, a tongue and groove subflooring panel, and both lap and panel sidings made from OSB with a resin impregnated overlay. LP uses a similar overlay to make three new Inner-Seal productsfascia board, soffits and frieze board.

Stabler said that the products were given a tough test during installation.
"We actually caught the weather at the worst possible time," he said. "Within l0 days of installation of the subflooring, we had two rainstorms dropping 2-l/2 inches each. Even with that extreme test, there wasn't any noticeable swelling. And Jimmy was pleased with the ease of installation. The t&g fit on the subflooring was much better than plywood. The siding went up straight and smooth and looks great."

The siding is primed and ready for painting and qualifies for the American Plywood Association's performance rated siding program, which gives it an exclusive edge over other siding products. It's also easy to maintain and features a generous warranty.
"Frankly, with so much riding on this home. I wouldn't have used these new products if I wasn't convinced they could perform better than traditional materials." Stabler said. "Once my framer, Jimmy Bos-
OHEMIA Inc., headquartered in Eugene, Or., has manufactured the structural glue lami- nated products called glulams for over 20 years. For at thevhaveu..nru,e.liull,ioFj".li world's glulam produc pany also produces and sells on a worldwide basis lumber, plywood, particleboard and medium-density fiberboard.
Number one in glulam manufacturing totals in 1988, the company invested millions of dollars in opening two efficient and highly automated glulam plants in Vaughn, just west of Eugene. These state-of-theart facilities complement the original plant in Saginaw, south of Eugene.
Combined daily production capacity of the three plants equals 600,000 board feet. Every day all year long they produce enough glulam beams and headers to form a 2" x 6" ribbon nearly 140 miles long. When this is extended to an annual basis, Bohemia manufactures enough glulams from second growth Douglas fir to stretch around the world two times.
