Lumbermen's Association of Texas completed its membership contest with Bruce Agness, Indiana Lumbermens Mutual Insurance, bringing in six new members and more than $1500 in new member dues to win top prize, a vacation at Port Royal in Port Arkansas.

Second prize went to Larry Burns, Simms Moore Lumber, Frisco, who received a complimentary package for the l99l LAT convention in San Antonio.

Others recognized included Chris Lee, Dittmar Lumber; Beau Freyou, American Paneling; Allan Ritter, Ritter Lumber; George Natsis, Edna Lumber: Dick Ledermann, Olshan Lumber; Phil Sanders and Eddie Stafford, Indiana Lumbermens Mutual, and Jeff Klare, Zarsky Lumber.

Booth prize winners at the LAT convention in Corpus Christi were Olshan Lumber, Kermit Lumber, Dan's Home Center and Builders & Homeowners management sessions led by David L. Bailey Jr. and Joe Brooks, the popular roundtable discussions will offer dealers and suppliers an opportunity to interact, according to president John Purcell.

Southern Forest Products Association already has 95 exhibitors for Expo '91 which opens June 6, 1991, at the New Orleans, La., convention center.

These represent 60% ofthe available 100,000 sq. ft. ofavailable exhibit space. "This show is definitely off to a fast start," said Lionel J. Landry, Expo director. "We received early and intensive interest in selecting exhibit space and those who have signed up so far have claimed large chunks from the floor plan. Even so, there are still prime locations available for new exhibitors and those who exhibited in Atlanta. but haven't signed up yet."
