Redwood Dealer Service is Popular

California lumbermen are taking enthusiastically to the splendid dealer service offered by the California Redwood Association.

The association ofrices in San Francisco report that a great maDy retail lumber merchants in various parts of the state have asked to be "counted in" on this iervice and are preparing to make full use of all the facilities the association ofrers them.

The association's campaign with the dealers makes cfreetive use of both literature and newspaper advertising cuts. Thus the deaier is able to reach his prospects through two difrerent channels-either an incomplete means without the other

The newspaper advertising is planned to cover a considerable period of time, as the associatiou tries to inpress upon the dealers the advantages of continuous advertieing service through their local papers. This part of the service consists of twelve attractive copper cuts. varying in sizc from one column by five inches, to three colunns by seven inches. Each cut has ao illustratiou suggesting a particular use for redrvood, with a brief text describing that use. No two cuts are alike. Space is provided for insertion of the clealer's own name, so the advertising, priated. in his home town paper, will appear as his own.

The association supplies these cuts at actual cost, but requests for cuts and other features of the service should be made through the redwood manufacturer or d.istributor from whom the dealer regularly obtains his supplies of red.wood.
