Jeff Chapman will replace Walter Foxworth as president during the annual expo which will include education, membership and committee orientation as well as the exhibits and social events. Pre-convention events planned for Thursday include golf and tennis tournaments and a splash-off party at Sea World.

Louisiana Building Material Dealers Association's l99l convention is March 7-10 at the Lalayette Hilton & Towers. Lalayette. La.
The board of directors meeting on Friday morning will be followed by the past president's reception and luncheon with Cajun humorist Ralph Begnaud as speaker. A business session is scheduled for the afternoon with an evening event at Breaux Bridge.
Exhibits will open Saturday morning with suppliers hosting a reception and lunch in the exhibit area. Dudley Webre, outgoing president, will be honored at the president's reception and banquet that evening.
The second annual supplier of the year and annual Ned Ball awards will be presented during the convention.
Forest Products Traffic Association will host a hospitality meeting for members, carriers, lumbermen, lriends and associates Feb.27 at 6:30 p.m. to kick off its 80th anniversary and 70th annual meeting.
Scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, at the East Memphis Hilton, Memphis, Tn., the annual meeting will be followed by a joint luncheon with the Lumbermen's Club of Memphis, 12 noon at the Racquet Club of Memphis.
Oklahoma Lumbermen's Association is finalizing plans for Spring Mart '91 in Oklahoma City March 23-24. Products will be exhibited at rhe Oklahoma City Fairgrounds with convention activities at the Oklahoma City Marriott.
A bylaws proposal will be voted on during the convention to approve the merger o[districts I and 2 and 5 and 6 to reduce the total number from six to four.
A $500 prize will be awarded by drawing to one of the women attending the All Industry Reception on opening night. Dealers will vie for a grand prize ol a trip for two and four second prizes of $1000 each in the annual buying contest. In addition, three exhibitor prizes will be awarded.
