BARRATT AND DAVID WILSON HOMES RAISE OVER £15K FOR RAINBOWS HOSPICE BARRATT and David Wilson Homes North Midlands has raised over £15,000 for its 2020 Charity of the Year, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. The money raised will go towards providing vital care and support to families impacted by life-limiting conditions Fundraising efforts by Barratt and David Wilson Homes included a virtual 258-mile challenge and a socially-distanced company golf day in September. The total of £15,601.04 includes a match funding Hayley Purser with the representatives of Barratt and David Wilson donation by parent company Homes North Midlands Barratt Developments. Hayley Purser, Corporate Partnership Fundraiser at Rainbows, said: “It’s been such a pleasure to work with the team from Barratt and David Wilson Homes over the last year and we’re thrilled with the incredible amount of money they’ve raised for the hospice. “Everyone has worked really hard to support Rainbows and it will make a huge difference to the children and young people we care for, and their loved ones. We want to say a big thank you to everyone who’s supported us.” Mark Cotes, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Midlands, said: “We are delighted to announce that we have managed to raise over £15,000 for our 2020 Charity of the Year, Rainbows. “As a leading housebuilder we understand the importance of supporting charities and communities and strive to give back wherever we can.
