Shorewood Village Board sets 2016 meeting dates The committee of the whole will not meet Nov. 23 or Dec. 20 BY ANDREA EARNEST SENTINEL STAFF

The Shorewood Village Board will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in 2016.

At the board’s Dec. 8 meeting, trustees approved the schedule for next year’s meetings, which will be held at 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 1 Towne Center Blvd. Meetings are scheduled for Jan. 12, Jan. 26, Feb. 9, Feb. 23, March 8, March 22, April

12, April 26, May 10, May 24, June 14, June 28, July 12, July 26, Aug. 9, Aug. 23, Sept. 13, Sept. 27, Oct. 11, Oct. 25, Nov. 8, Nov. 22 and Dec. 13. Additionally, trustees approved committee of the whole meetings for the third Tuesday of each month at the same time and location as village board meetings. The committee of the whole will

not meet Nov. 23 or Dec. 20. Other meeting times approved include the planning and zoning commission, which will meet on the first Wednesday of each month, and the citizens advisory committee, which will meet on the fourth Thursday of the month. Both meetings will take place at 7 p.m. at village hall. Meetings will not be held Nov. 24 or Dec. 29.

The police pension board will meet quarterly on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Shorewood Police Department, 903 W. Jefferson St. The police and fire commission will also meet at the Shorewood Police Department on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. The village board will not meet again until Jan. 12.
