Immigration reform highlighted during fifth annual event By Laura Katauskas | BUGLE STAFF ealth and happiness—words that easily slip off the tongue for some, as they wish each other well at holidays and birthdays. but for others, that is a wish that seems far from ever coming true. for ricardo cruz, family is at the heart of all things. And if they are not healthy, how can they be happy. this was the message he wanted to share with thousands of attendees to the 5th annual day of the immigrant, held Sunday at the bolingbrook town center. the Southwest Suburban immigrant Project sponsors the annual event. while a day of celebration, it was also a day to discuss the work that participants say still needs to be done in the area of immigration reform.
