Village to pursue new TIF districts on Bluff Rd. Section is mainly industrial and would potentially accommodate future development industrial projects

The Village of Romeoville will be pursuing two new Tax Increment Financing Districts slated for two different business park areas.

One district would take shape along a section of Bluff Road. According to Village Attorney Rich Vogel the section is mainly industrial and would potentially accommodate future development industrial projects.

The area encompasses an older part of the existing business park developed in the 1980s. An additional TIF District would be pursued for a section along Indepen-

dence Boulevard.

Vogel reiterated that before the TIF district can be created, a process must be followed including the adoption of resolutions, a joint review board and public hearing.

“This is just one step in the process in creating a TIF district; it does not create the district,” said Vogel. “There will be separate decisions in December. This enables the village to consider to create a TIF district.”

He noted that the village is already working with developers on potential projects for which TIF financing would apply to help finance some professional type services. Those services would incorporate fees for studies and would

come before the board to be approved as an eligible expense.

“We’ve had ongoing discussions internally regarding this,” said Mayor John Noak. “While the market is strong, there is a reason why it has not been developed--there are so many obstacles to overcome thus the necessity for a TIF. We are not approving what will go there yet but this will move us forward if we are going to study it and will put the tools in place to do that.

Noak said there are many legacy issues that remain on site and starting the discussion for a TIF will allow for the evaluation of the areas.

Board member Joe Chavez questioned how it would affect residents along the Independence Boulevard section.

Vogel reported the area contained only two residents who are willing sellers.

Valley View continuing with E-rate funding Program gives schools, libraries a discount for telecommunication

As digital learning at the Valley View School District continues to expand, the district is securing its plan to continue its upgrade for infrastructure.

Since 2015, the school district has been working to create an atmosphere that accommodates its new digital curriculum.

The district has been able to use E-rate funds for the massive wallto wall wireless infrastructure to ensure connectivity for all of its resources.

According to Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services Gary Grizaffi the E-rate program provides discounted telecommu-

nications for schools and libraries.

The district has been a participant of the program since 2002 and must follow protocol with a request for proposal to continue the program.

The district has completed its application for this year’s project to create a new wide area network and believes that the need for a robust, secure and swift network/ digital infrastructure is a vital resource in order to support students and staff with teaching and learning. The key focus for the technology department is to ensure a stable infrastructure with speeds to meet the needs of the organization.

The E-rate program can cover up to 80 percent of the total cost of $489,000; with the district picking

up only $140,000 of the cost.

Part of the work to be done would allow the district to have Wifi access throughout the building without any connectivity issues and would involve a Wide Area Network (WAN) upgrade, switches, and UPSs to provide increased bandwidth.

School board member Sally Guilbo is encouraged by the technology and questioned how long the infrastructure within the district would last and what additional costs could include.

“We have been upgrading and I like all the technology going on in the classrooms and I think that is really great, , but I just have questions about the deal for techonology and how long this program lasts,” said Guilbo.

Grizaffi explained that the district has a “very robust infrastructure which should buy us a few

more years of operations without out upgrade.”

Director of Technology Astrid Welch also explained the $64,000 in additional components account for training and cards used for monitoring use, both of which the E-rate funds do not cover.

The primary goal of Schools and Libraries (ERate) Program is to make information services more affordable for schools and libraries across the U.S. This program was mandated by Congress in 1996 and implemented by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 1997; the ERate program provides discounted telecommunications, Internet access, and internal connections to eligible schools and libraries, funded by the Universal Service Fund (USF). The program has a very high level of integrity to ensure that funds are provided to eligible entities for specific servic-

es and equipment, with very clear responsibilities for participants. In order to be in compliance there are expectations, timelines and processes that must be followed.

The district cautions that the program is designed to provide schools and libraries with financial support, but in every funding situation the school or library self-funds a percentage of the program and there is no guarantee that because a District, school or library applies for funding that the request will be granted. Funds are allocated to the highest poverty districts, schools and libraries and then the next highest, until all funds for the year are exhausted.

It is anticipated that work would be done by June 30, 2018. The administration plans to bring a firm recommendation of the plan to the board at its next meeting Oct. 23.

PACE proposes raising bus fares, transfer fees Cash fares for regular routes will go up from $2 to $2.25, Ventra also affected

PACE suburban bus transit agency is planning to raise its fares as part of next year’s budget – a first major fare increase since 2009.

Under the proposed budget, the cash fares for regular routes will go up from $2 to $2.25, while Ventra card fares will go up from $1.57 to $2. The fares for premium routes would increase more drastically, going up from $4 to $4.50. And while transfers between routes currently cost $0.25, under the new budget, they would increase to $0.30.

The increases are designed to help make up for the budget shortfall due to the combination of reduced state funding and lower than expected sales tax revenue. According to Maggie Daly Skogsbakken, PACE ‘s media relations manager, the transit agency is doing its part to reduce the deficit: freezing new hirs, requiring some employees to pay

If approved, the fare increases will take effect on Jan. 1, 2018.

While PACE hasn’t made any major fare increases since 2009, there have been a few changes. As part of the switchover to Ventra cards, transfers for cash-paying riders were eliminated, and so were 10 Ridge Plus regular and premium route tickets, which allowed riders to buy an equivalent of 11 singleride fares for a price of 10. Effective Jan. 1, 2016, PACE raised cash fares from $1.75 to $2 while keeping Ventra card fares the same.

According to a fact sheet provided

by PACE , the agency is expecting to face a $12 million budget shortfall. The 2018 budget document indicates that $3.4 million of it was

lost due to declining state funding.

PACE is expecting the fare increases to bring in predominately $2.3 million, raising the amount of farebox revenue by 8.4 percent.

Regular riders make up the majority of PACE ‘s bus system. In most cases, the transfers function similar as they do on CTA buses and ‘L’ trains – riders are entitled to two transfers for exactly 120 minutes after the riders pay to board. The first transfer costs 25 cents, while the second one is free. CTA accepts PACE transfers, and PACE accepts CTA transfers, allowing riders easy transfer between systems.

There are some exceptions to this rule. In several larger cities in Chicago regions – including Joliet – transfers are free, but only between buses that serve that particular city.

The budget indicates that the routes where transfers are free will remain free, but for other routes, the first transfer will go up to $0.30 The increases would mean that, for the first time in recent decades, PACE bus fares will be the same as CTA bus fares, while the transfers would actually be more expensive than the CTA’s.

The premium routes include rush-hour commuter shuttles between downtown Chicago and several southwestern suburbs, a

summer shuttle service to Six Flags Great America and routes that link riders to Wrigley Field, Soldier Field and Guaranteed Rate Field on game days. Routes 755 and 855 serve Plainfield, while routes 850 and 851 serve Bolingbrook.

While transfers between premium routes work the same way as regular routes, riders transferring from regular routes to premium routes have to pay additional surcharges. Riders playing one-time fares have to pay additional $2.50, while riders with all passes except the 30-day Premium PACE /CTA Pass have to pay extra $2.25 per ride.

The 2018 budget calls for them to be increased to $2.80 and $2.50, respectfully.

The increases didn’t spare some of the other services. Call-n-ride program allows riders in certain areas – including West Joliet – to book trips can pick them up and drop them off anywhere within said area.

Because call-n-ride fares were always the same as regular fares, they would go up as well, from $1.75 to $2. The ADA paratransit services, which severe both the City of Chicago and suburban six-county region, would see their fares go up as well, from $3 to $3.25. PACE isn’t planning to increase the cost of any of its passes. The Niles Free Bus sys-

tem, where every aspect of the operations – including fares – must be agreed upon between the Village of Niles and PACE , won’t be affected.

Daly Skogsbakken told this newspaper that riders wouldn’t be asked to cover the deficit alone. The transit agency is making cuts as well.

“PACE administrative staff will see a six percent increase in their contribution to health care, there will be a corporate hiring freeze, and eligible capital expenses previously paid from operating budget will be paid from capital budget in 2018,” she said.

According to the fact sheet provided to this newspaper, the hiring freeze will save $3 million, while using the capital budget to cover some of the expenses currently covered through operating budget would save $5 million. Because the majority of the capital budget comes from local, state and federal grants, funds from Regional Transportation Authority and proceeds from PACE bond sales, it would have a net effect of reducing deficit.

PACE Board of Directors will vote on whether adopt the 2018 budget – and with it, the fare increases – during its Nov. 8 meeting. To give residents a chance to comment, it will be holding a series of public hearings throughout October.

October brings ‘awareness of depression Anxiety symptoms can include an increased heart rate, heavy breathing (or perhaps waking up at night with one or both conditions) Dr. Rita Gray, a licensed psychologist, is the director of clinical training for the Will County Health Department’s Behavioral Health Division. With October being “Depression Awareness Month,” Gray says awareness of the long term care that’s needed for someone diagnosed with depression is just as important as recognizing the symptoms themselves.

Another thing that’s important to be aware of, Gray says, is the difference between chronic depression and someone down on their luck. “Depression can be a complicated, misleading term,” Gray explained. “Anyone can have a bad day or a brief period of being upset because of school or work, a relationship problem, or maybe due to finances or the passing of a loved one. But chronic depression is not temporary. It can be very crippling to one’s daily life.”

Gray says it is very important to watch for symptoms that have become a regular part of our lives or the life of a loved one. This can include being sad and tearful on a frequent basis, not wanting to get out of bed, a lack of interest in pleasure, sleep pattern changes, or frequent irritability.

In addition, Gray says sometimes people “want to latch on to something that they’ve heard a lot about. A good example might be Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); but when you look at everything else going on, it could actually be depression.”

Another important piece of information is what often accompanies depression in a person.

“Depression will affect 22 percent

of the public at some time in their lives,” Gray stated. “People often think that’s the highest rate you’ll see for a chronic mental condition. But it’s not. The most frequent one, at 30 percent, is anxiety. But we often see a co-occurrence. In fact, it’s rare that one exists without the other.”

Anxiety symptoms can include an increased heart rate or heavy breathing (or perhaps waking up at night with one or both conditions). There are also symptoms such as constant worry, or perhaps avoiding things that cause the worry such as work or school.

“A student might be avoiding school because of bullying, or an adult may be avoiding work because they hate their job. Then the student worries about what that does to their grades and the adult worries about being able to pay bills. And soon, you have depression symptoms as well.”

Gray says being aware of what is going on in our own, our kids,’ and our loved ones’ lives is extremely important. “Depression can often by triggered by a disturbance in the body, perhaps an illness such as heart disease or

diabetes. Then, we need to remember that depression can be triggered by good events as well as bad. In our profession, our list of factors we look at includes things like vacations, marriages, or even new jobs and promotions. In all of those cases, there’s usually plenty of pressure and things to worry about.”

If you have a loved one who seems to be fighting chronic depression symptoms, showing that you care is very important.

But Gray reminds us that the response to reaching out varies from person to person. “While some can be very hypersensitive or embarrassed about their symptoms, others might be thrilled that someone is reaching out to them and showing that they care. Either way, you need to build trust with the loved one and know where to get help.”

Gray says getting help can be a whole new ballgame itself if the

person you are reaching out on behalf of does not want it at first.

For example, a man or woman may approach the Health Department’s Behavioral Health Division about their spouse or partner, but none of the staffers may have ever met the spouse or partner. In that case, the person who came forward needs to know their options.

And similar to what Al-Anon does for families struggling with alcoholism, those with loved ones suffering from depression can also find support groups that offer education and discussion.

“The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a great source,” Gray said. “Lots of hospitals have support groups too. But they are rather private. You won’t necessarily see them on the bulletin board at the grocery store, but if you google the hospital and explore their website, you can likely find something that fits you.”

And most of all, Gray says it’s

important during Depression Awareness Month to “be aware” that long term support is needed for someone being treated for depression. “You can’t just say, ‘Well, you’ve got your medication, you’re going to treatment sessions, why isn’t this fixed yet?’

This is a lifetime battle, and they need your support.”

Toys R Us is going bankrupt!

President Trump said any Toys R Us employee who takes a knee in the stuffed animal aisle should be fired!

OK, the third item is (presently) false; but the first two, conflicting as they may appear, were announced recently by the New Jersey-based retailer. Toys R Us, the Emerald City to children and a House of Horrors to parents, particularly in the frenetic days before Christmas, has fallen on hard times. In this age of online everything, the company has filed for Chapter 11 protection, as it struggles with a $5 billion debt.

And yet, Toys R Us is not going down meekly, recently announcing plans to hire thousands of seasonal workers to deal with what it hopes will be a crush of Christmas shoppers who aren’t lured by Amazon’s click/wait/wrap/ place under tree approach to holiday gift buying.

Some might consider the hiring idea to be dead on arrival, considering Amazon’s proven success at running roughshod over traditional bricksand-mortar retailers, no matter their storied histories. But an unscientific poll of my social media contacts has netted a one-word solution that may save Toys R Us from the retail scrap heap that has already claimed stalwarts such as Sports Authority and RadioShack:

You read that correctly, Toys R Us executives. Put your faith in the grape.

My Facebook community says so, even suggesting a name change for your 875 stores. ‘Toys 4 Them, Wine 4 U.’ Serve it, and the moms will come,” predicted my friend Terri. Maureen was more direct. “Serve alcohol!” she advocated.

Let’s, for a moment, consider the scenario: It’s Dec. 23. Mom, amid wrapping gifts, defrosting the holiday turkey, and entertaining kids who have pushed the 1-10 hyperactivity meter into the mid-20s, suddenly realizes she is a few presents short. Begrudgingly, she fires up the minivan and heads to the nearest Toys R Us. A half-hour search for parking finally results in a spot at the other end of the strip mall, behind a shuttered Blockbuster Video store still without a replacement tenant.

Slipping and sliding through an iceencrusted parking lot, she enters Toys R Us, nearly colliding with equally haggard parents headed back to their cars, having just purchased large gifts not designed to fit into shopping carts.

The corner of a box containing an air hockey table grazes Mom’s cheek; its new owners neglect to apologize for that would require, briefly, stopping.

And there is no time to stop on Dec. 23.

But Mom’s mood quickly lightens, for nestled between the Pretend Play and Dolls sections stands a table manned by a retired sommelier. She is unabashedly cheerful for two reasons:

It’s Christmas, and she no longer must shop at Toys R Us, her own millennialaged kids on their own but, being millennials, in no hurry to produce grandchildren.

Assorted plastic cups of red (who cares what variety?) and white wine (ditto) are neatly arranged. Shoppers are limited to one sample, not enough to merit a DUI but a sufficient amount to take the edge off before doing battle, literally and figuratively, in the Star Wars and Action Figurines sections.

Mom grabs a glass, sniffs and sips, feeling her tension melting away. Wine has that effect. Just ask my wife.

Should the “moms consuming wine” idea take off, per Terri’s suggestion, Dads could join in. What Dad wouldn’t want to volunteer for last-minute toy shopping, knowing that free samples of the latest IPA brew await him in the Lego area? Who knows? Introducing a little liquid libation into such a frenzied scene might make parents who are usually hell-bent on exiting the store quickly linger a while longer, make a few impulse purchases and take a bite out of that pesky $5 billion.

If you need any more proof that some in-store, holiday cheer will merit happy, relaxed customers, look no further than Santa himself. Kris Kringle was always SO happy when my kids put a cold beer next to the milk and cookies.

Schneider is defensive player of the week The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced on Monday (Oct. 16) that Lewis University senior middle hitter Aly Schneider (Granger, Ind./Penn) has been selected as the Baden/ GLVC Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending October 15.

This is the first time that Schneider has won the award.

She won the Offensive Player of the Week award four times in 2016.

Schneider played a key role in helping the top-ranked Flyers go undefeated at the Midwest Region Crossover Tournament, including a sweep over No. 13 Ferris State.

The Granger, Ind., native averaged seven blocks-per-match, including eight apiece against Findlay (2 solo) and Ferris State.

She also played solid offensively, averaging 10 kills-per-match and hitting .368 (30 kills, 5 errors, 68 attacks).

“We are all very proud of Aly, because the Crossover is always a tough tournament,” Lewis head women’s volleyball coach Lorelee Smith said. “She was a

dominant presence for us at the net and made it difficult for our opponents to score.”

For the season Schneider has a team-best hitting percentage of .364 (200-46-423) and is averaging a team-best 1.25 blocksper-game.

Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 21) in Louisville against Bellarmine (3 PM ET).

GOLF A strong final round for the Lewis University women’s golf team led to a third-place finish with a 654 total (+78) at the Drury Invitational Monday (Oct. 16) at Silo Ridge Country Club.

Lewis improved its total from the previous day by 14 strokes to finish the second round with a 320 (+32).

Harding shot a final round 313 (+25) to win the tournament with a 633 (+57), seven strokes better than second-place Truman State (640, +64).

The Flyers also had a thirdplace finish individually as Madison Hill (Pekin, Ill./Pekin Community) shot a 79 (+7) in her final round to add to a 76 for

a two-day total of 155 (+11).

Hannah Schultz (North Prairie, Wis./Mukwonago) shot an 85 (+13) in her final round to finish with a 165 total (+21), which put her in a tie for 11th place.

Gabby David (Collinsville, Ill/ Althoff Catholic) placed 17th with a 166 total (+22) after a team-best 78 (+6) in the final round.

Katie Wortman (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village) was 21st overall with a 171 (+27) after an 80 (+8), while Kasey Kane (Texarkana, Tex./Texas) finished in a tie for 25th with a 173 total (+29) after a final round 83 (+11).

Harding’s Brooklyn Terry and Truman State’s Nicolle Barmettler tied for first with a 149 total (+7).

Lewis returns to action Oct. 24 at the Chik-Fil-A Invite at Stonebrdige Golf Club in Mount Berry, Ga. in its final event of the fall season.

At the 72:20 mark in the game, Rhys Wallace scored the game’s lone goal on a penalty kick, his third goal of the year for the Prairie Stars (7-6-1, 7-4-1 GLVC).

The Flyers (9-4, 8-3 GLVC) led UIS in shots 11-9, but the hosts had the shots on goal advantage, 4-2.

The Lewis University women’s soccer team came up on the short end of a 1-0 decision at Illinois-Springfield Sunday (Oct. 15) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match.

It was the third straight game and seventh game of the year where the Flyers played to a 1-0 final.

UIS (8-4-4, 5-4-3 GLVC) scored the lone goal of the game in the 29th minute when Meghan Delaney scored from the right corner on an assist from Maggie Juhlin. It was the fourth goal of the year for Delaney.

Basketball kicks off with Fan Fest Oct. 19 The Lewis University Athletics Department and Center for Health and Counseling Services will unveil the 2017-18 editions of the Flyer men’s and women’s basketball teams at the Sixth Annual Flyer Fan Fest - presented

White announces teen driving deaths down Deaths down due to graduated licensing Kicking off National Teen Driver Safety Week, Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White announced teen driving deaths have decreased by more than half. According to the Illinois Depart-

ment of Transportation, there were 155 teen driving deaths (age 16-19) in 2007. Since White’s efforts to overhaul the state’s graduated driver licensing (GDL) laws took effect in 2008, teen driving fatalities have dropped by 51 percent – with 76 teen driving deaths in 2016. Many cite White’s nationally heralded GDL program for the decrease.

“When I first assembled the Teen Driver Safety Task Force, we knew we faced a difficult

task,” said White. “I am pleased this law is working as we intended. The goal has always been to save lives. We worked hard to strengthen our GDL program and make it one of the best in the nation.”

Illinois’ GDL program better prepares novice, teen drivers by giving them more time to obtain valuable driving experience while under the watchful eye of a parent or guardian, limiting in-car distractions and requir-

ing teens to earn their way from one stage to the next by avoiding traffic convictions.

White emphasized the important roles that parents, high school teachers and driver education instructors play in preparing safe and responsible teen drivers.

State and national traffic safety organizations have praised Illinois’ stronger GDL program as one of the best in the nation. To learn more about the state’s GDL

White is also reminding the public that National Teen Driver Safety Week is October 15-21, a time when parents and caregivers are encouraged to talk to teens about staying safe behind the wheel.

Mating time is here, don’t veer for deer IDOT, IDNR remind motorists to drive cautiously during fall breeding season Autumn brings shorter days, cooler temperatures and a new set of driving habits for Illinois motorists. The Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois Department of Natural Resources warn drivers to be vigilant during mating season as deer will be more active and visible throughout the state. The risk for deer vs. vehicle crashes

greatly increases in October, November and December, especially at dusk and dawn.

“Deer can dart in front of a vehicle in the blink of an eye,” said Illinois Transportation Secretary Randy Blankenhorn. “It’s instinctual to swerve out of the way, but in doing so, drivers could lose control of the vehicle and cause a more severe crash.

If you’re attentive and watchful for deer encounters, these safety tips could make all the difference.”

crashes involving deer happened in rural environments, with over 70 (actually 72%) percent of all crashes taking place at twilight or nighttime.

In 2016, there were 14,759 motor vehicle crashes involving deer in Illinois, over one thousand crashes less than the 2015 total. There were 14,248 crashes that resulted in damage to property or vehicles only, down from the 15,431 in 2015. Personal injuries tallied 581 in 2016 versus 628 in 2015 and 569 in 2014. The number of fatalities dropped, from eight in 2015 to five in 2016.

“Deer-vehicle accidents can occur any time of year, but deer are especially active in the fall

during their mating season,” said Wayne Rosenthal, director of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. “Motorists should be on the alert for deer near roadways during early morning and evening hours, especially near wooded areas, field edges and waterways.”

If you do hit a deer, pull off to the shoulder and turn on the hazard lights. Call 911 to report the accident so the appropriate law enforcement can assist.

Do not get out of the vehicle to check on an injured deer or pull it from the road. You can visit the IDNR website for information on how to claim a deer that has been involved in a crash.

Son should make own decisions The best way for him to learn is to make educated, informed decisions on his own DEAR DAVE, My son is about to go off to college, and I’m concerned about how he’ll handle his money when he gets there. We’ve taught all our children how to use your envelope system, and to save and give, but I’d like some advice on how he can safeguard his finances a little better.

ASHLEY DEAR ASHLEY, If you haven’t already covered it, he needs to learn to utilize a debit card and reconcile a checking account. Set the account up in your name and his, so you can follow what’s going on in the account. If there’s an issue, this gives you easy access so that a minor incident doesn’t become a huge problem.

Right now, the best way for him to learn is to make educated, informed decisions on his own and to stand on his own two feet.

You’re there for guidance at this point — not control. I’d let him use a debit card, cash, and have a few simple envelopes for expenses. Also, he needs to report back to you monthly what’s going on with the budget. What I’m talking

about here isn’t control; it’s a simple, regular review and coaching session on finances. This is an exciting time in your lives. You’ve laid a foundation, and it’s time for this little one to spread his wings a bit. Together, you can make sure he’s learning and living the way a young man should!

There are almost always hidden conditions and a few “gotchas” hidden in the fine print of leases. Besides, leasing a cell phone? Really? Come on! If you can’t pay cash for something like a cell phone, it means you can’t afford the phone. It’s as simple as that!

Tips for grandparents taking their grandkids trick-or-treating Are you planning to take your grandchildren trick or treating? Maybe their parents will be taking the time to share those memories. Either way the supervising adult may appreciate some halloween safety tip reminders. Autumn events like Halloween and Harvest Day are highly anticipated by children and some adults.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has offered these tips we all may want to review again.

Swords, knives, and similar costume accessories should be short, soft, and flexible.

Avoid trick-or-treating alone. Walk in groups or with a trusted adult.

Fasten reflective tape to costumes and bags to help drivers see you.

Examine all treats for choking hazards and tampering before eating them. Limit the amount of treats you eat.

Hold a flashlight while trick-or-treating to help you see and others see you. Always WALK and don’t run from house to house.

Always test make-up in a small area first. Remove it before bedtime to prevent possible skin and eye irritation.

Look both ways before crossing the street. Use established crosswalks

wherever possible.

Lower your risk for serious eye injury by not wearing decorative contact lenses.

Only walk on sidewalks whenever possible, or on the far edge of the road facing traffic to stay safe.

• Wear well-fitting masks, costumes, and shoes to avoid blocked vision, trips, and falls.

• Eat only factory-wrapped treats. Avoid eating homemade treats made by strangers.

• Enter homes only if you’re with a trusted adult. Only visit well-lit houses. Don’t stop at dark houses. Never accept rides from strangers.

• Never walk near lit candles or luminaries. Be sure to wear flame-resistant costumes.

Don’t forget about the use of party games to get kids moving for their daily dose of at least 60 minutes of physical activity. The treat for everyone is to have a safe and fun event.
