Despite passage of new law, issues remain for handgun owners

T
hough Illinois lawmakers passed legislation for concealed carry, the time when residents will be afforded the right to carry through with the law is months away and fraught with other tentative issues, says Will County Board Member and Illinois State Rifle Association President Don Moran. The new law will allow Illinois residents to carry a concealed Don Moran firearm at the cost of $150 for a five-year license.
