Chicago suburbs start cleanup after storms

Hernandez The band was playing, the night was cool, and the community packed Romeoville’s Deer Crossing Park July 3 for its Independence Day celebration. Thousands gathered for what has grown from just a fireworks display to a blown-out party complete with food, activities for the kids, live band and ample space to be awed by sparks in the sky. Two powerful storm cells made the wind screech and thunder sound like artillery the final night of June.
