GOLD MEDALISTS RETURN TO NILES PARK DISTRICT Three gold medalists from the 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team recently returned to Niles Park District’s IceLand. They had trained with the regulars and had become part of the Iceland family. Jen Lee, left, of San Francisco, Brody Roybal of Northlake, who was named Best Forward and Tournament MVP, and Kevin McKee of Chicago. Not pictured – team member Travis Dodson (Deming, N.M.), who also trained at IceLand. The U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team captured an unprecedented third-straight Paralympic Gold Medal in PyeongChang, Korea, by defeating Canada, 2–1, in overtime.
