amilies decked out in red, white and blue cheered as they watched festive floats and entertainment during the annual niles Fourth of July parade. the parade kicked off at notre dame high school, and onlookers packed the streets along the parade route. Many in attendance have made it a tradition to come and watch the parade every year with family and friends. niles Mayor Andrew Przybylo cheerfully greeted residents as he walked in the front of the parade, which was sponsored by the village of niles. Josh hurwitz, a resident of niles, watched the parade with his wife and children right outside their house. “It was great,” he said of the parade. “the girls have been coming since they were born.”
