Bruce Rauner describes himself as a “self-made” businessman who worked in the investment field for over 30 years before announcing his desire to run for governor in 2013. Bruce Rauner lives in Winnetka with his wife and six children. He has a degree in economics from Dartmouth College and later received an MBA from Harvard University. The following are some key points from Rauner’s primary campaign:
