his year’s sweet corn crop has farmers grinning ear to ear. “We are seeing phenomenal yields,” said Frank Keller, owner of Keller’s Farmstand in Plainfield, Oswego and Naperville. Likewise, Zach Siegel of Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm in Crest Hill says his family is harvesting a bumper crop this summer from the 70 acres dedicated to sweet corn of the 400 total acres of corn.
