Heritage Corridor ranks fourth in state among tourism attractions By Stewart Warren For the Bugle

il Orejudos is not the kind of guy who stays home. The retired accountant owns a 1993 Harley-Davidson Sportster with an eye-catching orange and black paint job. He likes to hit the road, and he knows he doesn’t have to cross state lines to have a great time. There are plenty of things to see and do right here in Illinois. So on July 11, he left his home in Chicago and met hundreds of other motorcyclists in Countryside for a trip to Joliet’s Chicagoland Speedway. “I love riding,” Orejudos said. The group was celebrating travel in Illinois during an event sponsored by the state’s tourism office and the local Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau.
