After Susie Barber resigned earlier this month from the Joliet City Council, some residents wanted to know Susie Barber how she would be former joliet city counclwoman replaced. district 4 Would there be an election? Would someone simply pick the new member? Would the public have a say? It all seemed so confusing. So the Unity Community Development Corporation – a group that’s called Unity CDC around town – decided to do something. They quickly organized a brief forum held Saturday at the Joliet Area Historical Museum, 204 N.
