A truck driver pleaded not guilty Tuesday morning to reckless homicide and other charges in a July crash on Interstate 55 that killed five people. Francisco EspinalQuiroz, 51, of Leesburg, Ind., the owner of Espinal Trucking, is being held at the Will County jail on $1 million bond. He has been charged with 15 counts of reckless homicide, false recording of a commercial Francisco driver record of duty status Espinal-Quiroz, and failure to maintain 51, of Leesburg, Ind. records of duty status, all felonies. The last two charges are related to the driving logs that truck drivers are required to keep by law. Nicole Sartori represents Espinal-Quiroz.
