Plans are steaming ahead for expansion at the C.W. Avery YMCA in Plainfield. On Aug. 21, members of the Plainfield Board of Trustees approved a site plan review of the planned expansion at the site, which will add on to the fitness center and improve services. The plans include an 8,700-square foot addition to the northeast corner of the building, which will be reconfigured for an expanded fitness center and rehabilitation clinic. The addition as proposed is adjacent to the main entrance of the building. The new addition will feature an elevated SEE YMCA PAGE 4
