Financial outlook steady for Plainfield

With the current fiscal year about halfway though, Plainfield village trustees took a moment to look at the financial forecast for the village for the current fiscal year, which ends on April 30, 2018 (FY18). On Oct. 23, Director of Management Services Traci Pleckham reported to village trustees that revenues for the most part are right on track with what was budgeted for the current fiscal year. Sales taxes collected by the village have not increased much over the past few years, but the village has been able to budget accordingly. SEE STEADY PAGE 2
