There’s an end in sight for the plan to rid Plainfield of parkway trees infested by emerald ash borer pests. Earlier in January, the village board reviewed various draft budget proposals for multiple departments within the village. The overall street division budget for the 2018-2019 Fiscal Year (FY19) is $3.8 million, up from the current fiscal year’s adopted budget of $3.7 million.
