our lakes is a condominium community made up of tight, winding roads and bordered by the east branch of the DuPage river and Maple Avenue in lisle. For more than 3,500 residents inside the subdivision, those roads have been limited by roadwork since summer. on Dec. 7, officials from the village of lisle and the Four lakes homeowners Association (hoA) got a chance to celebrate the

reopening of the community’s secondary exit, as the new Four lakes Avenue bridge was finally opened to the public. “Without this connection, it’s very inconvenient for everybody,” said Public Works Director Jason elias, noting that residents have only been able to enter the community from Maple Avenue since July. The bridge connects the community to Illinois route 53.
