White Oak to host first STEM fest Visitors will enjoy full day of STEM from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sat. March 4

Make a banana piano? Experience engineering through Minecraft?

Science is awesome—that is the message of the White Oak Library District’s STEM Fest 2017, where hands-on activities and demonstrations by a number of museums and colleges throughout Illinois is hoped to open a new world to patrons.

Visitors will enjoy a full day a full day of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sat. March 4 at the White Oak Library Romeoville branch, 201 W. Normantown Road.

“The White Oak Library District is thrilled to be having its very first STEM Fest and hopes our communities will embrace

the opportunities such an event offers,” said Assistant Branch Manager Beverly Krakovec. “Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics—STEM, and therefore, STEM education/activities—are vital to our future—the future of our country, the future of our region and the future of our children. Besides, STEM is everywhere; it shapes our everyday experiences. We want individuals to appreciate the fact that STEM isn’t just an activity in your child’s classroom—it has become important to everyone as we evolve into a more tech and innovation dependent world.”

Thanks to a grant from C.I.T.G.O. the library will be offering a day to check out fun, stimulating activities from the SciTech Museum of Aurora, Northern Illinois University’s STEM Outreach Department, Elmhurst’s Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art, 3D Universe, Will County Children’s Museum and Fermilab, the high-

In addition, a special presentation will feature Magician Steven Belliveau’s “Getting Excited About Science,” and patrons can hang out with Science Ninjas, who teach real science through graphics and fun characters.

As the district reached out to new vendors who were added to the mix, the event grow into what is now, a fest covering everything from rocket ship racing to DIY computer kits.

“We were inspired by the STEM initiatives we saw online; we knew this is something being taught in our school districts; and we wanted to build on our partnerships in the community and offer such an event,” said Schutts.

“We are very excited to have as

many exhibitors as we do and would not have been able to do so without the grant from C.I.T.G.O.” The library will also be raffling off a host of prizes including a set of Chibitronics Chibi Lights Circuit Stickers which allow kids build circuits without soldering, plugging wires, or clips; an Electric Motors Catalyst, which afford children an opportunity to build a countless number of projects that utilize the power of electric motors; and a Squishy Circuits Deluxe Kit and a Squishy Circuits Standard Kit which uses conductive and insulating play dough to teach the basics of electrical circuits in a fun, hands-on way; a Makey-Makey which can turn the whole word into a keyboard and many more.

“The best part of science is seeing the kids’ mind work and seeing their eyes when they figure out how to make things work,” said Schutts. “These hands-on activities make them realize that they can do this stuff---it’s not crazy hard---they can do it themselves!”

Calling it a captivating new way to party and play in Will County, Bowlmor AMF spent $1 million to renovate Brunswick Zone XL, now opening its doors as Bowlero Romeoville.

Located at 735 North Center Boulevard, the totally redesigned venue features 48 lanes of blacklight bowling, sleek laneside loungers, and high-definition video walls that broadcast everything from rock concerts and sporting events to classic family films.

“Bowlero is a fresh, modern spin to the traditional bowling experience. It’s more interactive, the design is modern and up-

dated, and incorporates an inventive new menu that offers an exciting alternative to traditional bowling alley food--think twofoot long hot dogs, pizza cupcakes and pizza cakes, and even a five-pound Behemoth Burger,” said Julia Skobeleva, regional marketing manager for Bowlmor AMF. Organization works to support immigrants Southwest Suburban Immigrant Project reaches out to community

With tensions running high and concern elevating with new federal enforcement measures, the Southwest Suburban Immigrant Project, an established organization in Bolingbrook is set to help inform and protect its immigrant community.

The SSIP have been reaching out to immigrants across the southwestern suburbs who they say are living in fear as raids and deportations are spreading.

“Many immigrants and refugees in our community are living with fear because of the divisive rhetoric and actions from the Trump administration,” said Executive Director of SSIP Jose Vera. “The fear of mass deportations and raids looms over the daily lives of members from our community. The Muslim ban has been stopped by the courts, but a new one is going to roll out sometime this week. Putting families at risk of being separated. Today, Trump will deliver a speech in front of Congress, and people are afraid it will be again to announce more restrictive immigration proposals and building a wall, that does nothing but create divisiveness in our community.”

In partnership with its faith community, the group encouraged a Suburban Interfaith Unity Vigil Tuesday night, Feb. 28, at the Bolingbrook Town Center, in hopes to promote its community to be a safe space, calling on Bolingbrook leaders to take a stand for immigrants and refugees, a move the village had yet to do prior.

Vera said the purpose of the Unity Vigil is to bring the community together.

“It serves as an opportunity to let the Mayor (Bolingbrook Mayor Roger Claar) know

that divisiveness and hateful rhetoric have no space in Bolingbrook. We can no longer ignore the close relationship between Mayor Claar and Trump, and the support our Mayor has given to Trump. There is a difference between personal politics and being a Mayor of a very diverse community. We want Bolingbrook to become a welcoming village, and this unity vigil is a first step to show the strong support from all of our community. The message of the vigil is #NoHate #NoFear Immigrants and Refugees are welcome here!”

The SSIP is working to let immigrants know that the first step to getting help is talking to someone in the community and

recognizing that they are not alone. In addition, community education is vital and Vera said the group is trying to let people know that no matter their immigration status, they have rights.

SSIP periodically hosts community meetings and “Know Your Rights/Conozca Sus Derechos” trainings. The next “Know Your Rights” session will be held at 7 p.m. March 20, at the Fountaindale Public Library, 300 Briarcliff Road.

The group also is encouraging people that are green card holders and eligible to become U.S. citizens, to do so. The group will be hosting citizenship classes out of the Bolingbrook, Woodridge, and Crest Hill Libraries.

In addition, local churches, New Life Lutheran Church Bolingbrook, St. Dominic’s Church in Bolingbrook and St. Andrew the Apostle in Romeoville are supporting the SSIP, informing their congregation of the the vigil and the work of SSIP and the parent mentor groups at Independence Elementary School brought the community together for a family night to discuss concerns.

Romeoville HS honor student is National Merit Finalist Romeoville High School senior Elizabeth Zahorick has been named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.

She will now compete with high school seniors around the country for one of three prestigious Merit Scholarship® awards: National Merit® $2500 Scholarships, Corporate-sponsored Merit Scholarship awards or College-sponsored Merit Scholarship awards.

“I didn’t expect this,” said the RHS honor student who plans on studying aeronautical engineering at Notre Dame. “It is cool to be recognized for something like that.”

Zahorick is a lifelong VVSD product, attending R.C. Hill Elementary School since kindergarten and Lukancic Middle School where she was active in band and Drama Club, and was the school’s Spelling Bee champion, qualifying for the Will County Spelling Bee. At RHS she has been in the Fall Play and participated on the Speech Team. She is also captain of the SPC-champion RHS Scholastic Bowl Team and a member of the National Honor Society and an AP Scholar.

The daughter of Marie and Don Zahorick, Elizabeth hopes to design “cool things” like rockets for the space shuttle.

“I’ve always loved outer space.

At first I wanted to be an astronaut.

Then I wanted to be a pilot,” she said. “But now I want to work on designs and figure out how to make it better. I want to work for NASA but there are all sorts of companies that do that.”

Some 1.6 million students nationwide took the PSAT hoping to obtain a scholarship from the National Merit® Scholarship Program. The field was narrowed to roughly 50,000 who scored the highest PSAT/NMSQT® Selection Index scores (calculated by doubling the sum of the Reading, Writing and Language, and Math Test scores).

Last September, about 16,000 students (including Zahorick) were notified that they qualified as Semifinalists because they were among the highest scoring students in their state. Finalists were announced this month.

Beginning in March and continuing to mid-June, approximately 7,500 Finalists will be notified that they are the recipients of Merit

Scholarship® awards.

Winners of Merit Scholarship® awards are chosen based on their abilities, skills, and accomplishments. NMSC selectors evaluate the Finalist’s academic record, information about the school’s curricula and grading system, two sets of test scores, high school officials’ written recommendations, information about the student’s activities and leadership, and the Finalist’s own essay.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) is an independent, not-for-profit organization formed to identify and honor academically talented U.S. high school students, to stimulate increased support for their education and to provide efficient and effective program management for organizations who wish to sponsor college undergraduate scholarships.

B.J. Ward receives $5,000 in new books from Amazon More than a dozen Amazon representatives, many of whom work at the company’s Romeoville fulfillment center, surprised B.J. Ward students by donating $5,000 in hard cover books and e-books to the Bolingbrook elementary school Thursday afternoon.

With Bolingbrook Mayor Roger Claar and the entire Ward student body, teachers and administrators looking on, Amazon employees marched into the gym with large boxes and several wooden bookshelves filled with new books in both English and Spanish.

Students, who were gathered for a Black History Month appearance by the Jesse White Tumblers, shrieked in delight as they realized what was happening. A representative from each classroom was allowed to come to the gym floor to examine a box.

Amazon also donated erasers to the school to replace socks that are used in some classrooms to erase white boards.

“Every now and then, employees and their families who work and live in a community like to go into a couple of schools in the community to make a donation to benefit a school,” spokesman Joe Khayyat told Ward Principal Ted Warpinski when the visit was set up.

All of the books will be catalogued and placed in circulation throughout the school.

Brooks student film wins international festival award A film created in a Brooks Middle School 6th grade art class is drawing international attention after it was declared a first prize winner in Cabramatta, Australia’s Sunshine Short Film Festival.

“When I found out we won, I was like whoa,” said now 7th-grader Taylor Cobb who came up with the idea for the film. “We just put this

together for fun to show everybody at school and then we won an international contest. That’s really cool.”

“I was confused when I heard about it,” added Sofia Santiago, who co-produced and co-directed the film with Cobb. “I didn’t think it could win a contest.”

It all started last year as a classroom assignment from Brooks Visual Arts Key Leader Charlie McDermott who asked his students to partner up and come up with creative stop motion video project ideas.

“I had an idea for the film, but didn’t have the creative aspect of it,” Cobb said. “I knew Sofia is really good with that so we decided to work together.”

Santiago, who hopes to be an animator someday, and Cobb, who has designs on becoming either a chef or an undercover narcotics agent, came up with an ingenious project that utilized both stop motion and forced perspective photography. They called it “I (Heart) Art”.

The concept was so good, their classmates voted to produce their film, spending three class periods last year taking still shots with a tiny point-and-shoot camera.

So Much Media, So Little Time Enjoy media because you want to, not because you think you should I recently helped a client who was grappling with his desire to enjoy more leisure time by watching more movies & television and reading more books. He was concerned that his lists of mustwatch TV, books to read, and movies to experience kept growing, but his available media consumption time was not keeping pace. You can use the same suggestions I gave him to enjoy more leisure time: Adding new items to your media consumption wish list without removing anything, comes at a cost. It might be sleep; it might be time with friends; whatever it is, be sure you’re willing to pay the price of adding more.

Otherwise, use the four Ds to help you pare down: 1. DELETE Wouldn’t it feel great to reduce your guilt by getting rid of something from your queue of obligations? Can you live with the outcome of not watching or reading everything? Rather than hope that illness or injury will give

By Sue Becker you a reason to spend a month on the couch catching up on the shows you’ve recorded, give yourself permission to enjoy the best of what’s there guilt-free, and let the rest go.

2. DIMINISH Accept that you already have a good foundation of knowledge on a subject from other sources and trim how much you have to take in. For example, do you have to watch the entire six-hour Ken Burns cancer documentary, or is your current knowledge good enough? Can you just watch the final hour to hear a summary of the latest findings?

3. DELAY If you don’t get to it now, it will still be out there when you have more time to take it in. Put it on a list for future enjoyment.

4. DELEGATE Do you have to watch it or read it, or would reading a review or synopsis be good enough?

5. GO WITH THE FLOW Setting a pattern, like reading one old book after reading two new ones, may be helpful. But it can also be confining.

If you’re in the mood to read another new book after already reading two new ones, by golly, read another new book.

This is for your enjoyment, right?

6. BE TRUE TO YOURSELF Enjoy the media because you want to, not because you think you should. So what if you haven’t seen the latest movie everyone’s talking about – welcome to my life! Even if I’m not always part of the cultural conversation, I’m ok with it and I still find plenty of things to talk about with friends and colleagues.

Here’s to more enjoyable leisure time and less guilt.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR DEAR EDITOR, I wrote a story that was published by newspapers advising our finding a permanent home for our Romeoville Area Historical Society (Museum). We are now in the process of finalizing our costs, codes, (village) construction etc. We hope to move in May or June. In the interim, we will pack and store items that will be displayed.

Our home temporarily has been in the old Romeoville Police Department on Montrose Avenue in Romeoville.

Our mayor, trustees, etc. found this place for us about six years ago. It is now time to move on.

We would GREATLY appreciate any help from volunteers.

Our past history describes many pioneers who came to Romeoville to start a “new life.” Our Historical Society has many items on display that describe their dedication and

hardship. Their contribution is their legacy. These were true pioneers with “substance.” They understood that legacy will always be history. Romeoville current and past residents are a “family community”, with solid strength.

Our residents lift up, and come together with perseverance when challenged.

Our Museum illustrates, “time is a gift.” We all inspire and encourage our history. We also are creating our very own “logo,” which will be a part of our writings into the future.

Our motto is “Your History is Our History.” Our Museum will be a pillar, from the past, into the future with a true bond from contributions.

Bolingbrook falls in sectional opener to familiar faces from Plainfield East

The two schools, Plainfield East and Bolingbrook, are approximately six miles apart. The girls on both varsity basketball squads, have played with and against each other, on traveling teams, all their basketball careers. In the Class 4A East Aurora Sectional semifinal on Tuesday night, the PlainfieldBolingbrook rivalry reached an all-time high.

In the one of the most intensely fought basketball games, in a long time, Plainfield East (25-8) ousted the valiant Raiders of Bolingbrook 69-60. Playing without their 6-2 junior center Jahari Smith (three points, seven rebounds), due to foul problems, junior Gabby Smith and senior Talia Edwards, did everything they could to help the Raiders win.

forced 30 Plainfield East turnovers, on the night. Edwards just missed a double-double, scoring nine points and hauling down 10 rebounds, in her last game wearing the Red and Black of the Raiders.

“This one really, really hurts,” Edwards said. “We know all the girls on Plainfield East and really wanted to win, tonight. We played hard but we just couldn’t consistently get back on defense.

I played well tonight but I should have done some things differently. We had a lot of injuries but we still had a fine season.”

Plainfield East, fresh of their stunning victory over No. 1 seed Oswego East (25-4), was led by their 6-0 junior forward Oliva Jenkins.

“We played hard and battled all night,” Gabby Smith said. “We really want to win and advance further than we did last season. I played well tonight and am looking forward to next season. We return a number of players and are confident that we will be very successful.”

With Gabby and Jahari Smith, to lead the way, look out for the 2017-18 Raiders. Junior Taylor Robinson and freshmen, Jayden Marable and Danyel Middleton, will return, too. Add sophomore Arielle McElroy and four other Raiders, who saw significant play-

ing time, and the future is very bright in Bolingbrook girls’ hoops.

“We played very hard but not very smart,” Bolingbrook head coach Chris Smith. “We caused 30 turnovers tonight but we also committed way too many turnovers. We didn’t get back on defense and get the stops we needed. Gabby played outstanding offense tonight but she must play better defense. My senior Talia Edwards, played well in her last game for us.

“We had a number of injuries this season but still managed to win 17 games. We return a number of quality players next season.

We are looking forward to making another run downstate, next season.”

Romeoville’s Miranda, Pulliam honored For the fourth time in as many years the Lewis University men’s track and field team won the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Lewis finished the meet in first place with 115 points.

In the 800 meter run Sergio Miranda (Romeoville, Ill./ Romeoville) placed first with a time of 1:52.73.

Devin Ingram (Minooka, Ill./ Minooka) earned third place in the 200 meter dash crossing the finish line in 22.37.

Asher Scott (Fort Wayne, Ind./ Snider) finished third in the one mile run in 4:18.38.

Peyton Reed (Valpariso, Ind./ Valparaiso) finished the 3000 meter run in 8:40.01 finishing third.

In the 4 x 400 meter relay Ingram, John Partee (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South), Miranda, and Chris Wilson (Shorewood,

Ill./Minooka) took first with a time of 3:22.52 In the high jump Michael Lyons (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central HS) took third with a leap over the bar set at 2.02 meters (6’ 7 1/2”).

Bryce Holesinger (Fulton, Ill./Fulton) took first in the heptathlon with 4829 points which was a provisional qualification.

Holesingers top performances in the heptathlon came in the long jump where he placed second with a 6.38 meter (20’ 11 1/4”) leap. He placed second in the pole vault with a vault of 4.31 meters (14’ 1 3/4”).

Holesinger also took second in the 60 meter dash and finished the race in 7.25. He finished first in the 60 meter hurdles completing the race in 8.64.

“The men just couldn’t get a flow going. We would have a good event, and then something

would go wrong.” Lewis men’s head coach Dana Schwarting said. “We hung around and then really hit our stride with the last three events.”

Not only did Lewis take first in the meet but coach Schwarting was also awarded Men’s Coach of The Year. “It’s always an honor to be voted coach of the year, but it should really be staff of the year. We have an amazing staff, and I couldn’t be more proud of the job they do.”

Then, on Feb. 27 the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Region honorees for the 2016-17 NCAA Division II indoor track & field season.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction.

For Lewis, Holesinger Miranda were named to the Midwest region list of honorees.

Miranda earned his All-Region ranking of first for his performance in the 800 meter run finishing in 1:51.14 at the GLVC Championships.

His finish at the meet was also a season-best and provisional qualifying time enough to sit him at 15th in the national rankings.

Holesinger received the AllRegion honor for his performance in the heptathlon at the GLVC Championships after earning 4853 points in the event, his season-best score for the event as well as a provisional qualification. Holesinger was ranked fourth in the region and 31st in the nation.

The Flyers now wait for the NCAA to announce the list of those selected to Nationals held in Birmingham, Alabama March 10-11.

• The women competed Feb. 26 and Lewis University women’s

track and field won it’s fourth straight Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Championships finishing with 202 points.

In the 60 meter dash Cierra Pulliam (Plainfield, Ill./ Romeoville) finished second with a time of 7.73.

In the 200 meter dash Allison Heinzer (Sugar Grove, Ill./ Kaneland HS) took second finishing in 24.95, while Pulliam finished third in 25.02. Both earning a provisional mark.

Heinzer also finished first in the 400 meter completing the race in 56.57, which was a provisional qualifying mark.

Zoe Mead (Princeton, Ill./ Princeton) also earned a provisional mark in the 800 meter run with her first place finish of 2:14.21.

Pulliam finished the triple jump with first place with a leap of 12.53 meters (41’ 1 1/2” ) which was an automatic qualification. Phoenix Smallwood (Princeton, Ill./Princeton) took third in the triple jump with a 11.59 meters (38’ 1/4”) which was a provisional mark for her.

In the shot put Lane Kadlec (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) came in third earning a 13.84 meter (45’ 5”) provisional toss.

“The women really showed up this weekend.” Lewis women’s head coach Dana Schwarting said. “We got off to a great start Saturday and never looked back.”

To add to the list of Lewis achievements Heinzer was awarded GLVC Freshmen of the Year and Pulliam was awarded GLVC Field Athlete of the Year.

“Cierra put a stamp on the meet with a school record, GLVC record, and NCAA automatic qualifying triple jump. She really had an amazing meet” said Coach Schwarting. “Allie broke onto the scene in big fashion, winning the 400 meter, getting runner up in the 200, and anchoring the winning 4x4. She proved she will be a force to reckon with for years to come.”

Coach Schwarting was also recognized for the team’s success being awarded Coach of the Year. “It’s always an honor to be voted coach of the year, but it should really be staff of the year.

We have an amazing coaching staff, and I couldn’t be more proud of the job they do.”

For the Midwest region Lewis University women’s track and field had Pulliam, Smallwood , Farrough, and Heinzer named to the list.

Pulliam was ranked first regionally and third nationally in the triple jump for her season and career-best leap of 12.53 (41’ 1 1/2”) achieved at the GLVC Championships Februrary 2526. This leap also automatically qualified Pulliam for the NCAA Indoor Championships.

Smallwood was ranked first in the region for the long jump, having a season and career-best leap of 5.98 (19’ 7 1/2”) which she achieved at the Cardinal Classic on February 17. With the mark she earned a provisional qualification for the event as well, and was ranked eighth nationally.

Farrough, ranked fourth in the region and 17th in the nation for the 3000 meter run thanks to

her 9:42.26 finish at the Cardinal Classic, her season-best and a provisional qualifying mark.

Heinzer who ran a season and career-best 24.95 in the 200 meter dash earned herself a provisional mark for the race at the GLVC Championships which ranked her at fourth on the AllRegion list and 28th in the nation.

MEN’S BASKETBALL The Lewis University men’s basketball team has advanced to the Great Lakes Valley Conference Quarterfinals for the 11th straight year, as the Flyers picked up the 78-59 win over Saint Joseph’s in a GLVC Championship Tournament First Round contest at Neil Carey on Sunday (Feb. 26). No other team has advanced to the GLVC Quarterfinals in the past 11 years.

Lewis junior forward Cristen Wilson (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay) led four Flyers in doublefigures with a game-high 21 points on 10-for-14 shooting, including nine rebounds. Eight of those points came in a 21-5 run over the final 6:25 to help the Flyers clinch the victory.

With the win, Lewis improves to 17-12 overall and the Pumas end the season with a mark of 12-17. This marks the eighthstraight year that Lewis has won at least 17 games, joining only Bellarmine, Drury and Southern Indiana as the only other GLVC teams to achieve this feat.

Flyer senior guard Miles Simelton (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) scored 15 points, while freshman center Anthony D’Avanzo (Harwood Heights, Ill./Notre

Dame) collected 12 points on 6-for-8 shooting, including seven rebounds.

Lewis junior forward Nick Norton (Downers Grove, Ill./ Downers Grove North) was a perfect 3-for-3 from threepoint range and finished with 10 points, while sophomore Delaney Blaylock (Wyoming, Mich./Godwin Heights) tied a career-highs in both assists (6) and rebounds (13) - both gamehighs.

Lewis shot 45.6% (31-for-68) as a team and 41.2% (7-for-17) from three-point range, while the Pumas knocked down 34.3% (23-for-67) of their shots and 30.4% (7-for-23) of their long range attempts. The Flyers also outrebounded Saint Joseph’s, 47-38.

The Flyers will play Quincy in a GLVC Championship Tournament Quarterfinal match-up at a yet-to-be determined time on Thursday (March 2) at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.

TENNIS Midwest number two Lewis University women’s tennis traveled to Drury University to take on the number one Panthers but finished the day losing 8-1.

Nora Mindiyarova (Moscow, Russia/Gimnasium 1577) earned the one Lewis win for the day against Ruby Huang 6-3, 6-2 in singles No. 3.

Lewis is now 4-2, while Drury moves to 7-0.

The next match for the Flyers will be March 1 at Five Star Tennis Complex in Plainfield, Illinois against Lake Superior State at 12:30 PM.

I make about $60,000 a year, but it’s a real struggle just to keep my head above water financially. My checking account is always overdrawn, and I don’t know where to start in catching up. Can you help?

GAIL DEAR GAIL, Trust me, I know it can be scary.

But the easiest way to attack this thing is by taking one slow, sure step at a time. Try not to let worry consume you in the process, either.

First, sit down, take a deep breath, and open all the unopened bills.

Throw away any duplicates, and keep only the most recent statements and notices. The unknown is always scarier than the known, so facing the bills and cutting that stack in half right off the bat will help reduce a lot of your initial anxiety. Next, let’s start a debt snowball.

List all the debts you owe, from smallest to largest, making one column for the payoff balance, one column for the amount you need to get current on that debt, and one column for the single payment amount when you get current. Total each column — the payoff balance, the amount to get current, and the single payment. I promise it won’t be as bad as you think.

JULIE DEAR JULIE, It wouldn’t be a big problem if she were healthy. But given her age, and the other struggles you mentioned, I’d check with a good insurance broker to see what’s out there for her.

In the insurance world they call this “making a market.” Will they be able to find a company that will write her in that situation? I can’t give you an accurate answer off the top of my head, because this is a difficult thing. It would probably depend on things like the extent of her depression, how long it’s been manifested, and what it has done in her life. That’s one of the reasons I’m advising you to see an insurance broker.
