Village kicks off anniversary with special events BY LAURA KATAUSKAS BUGLe STAFF

C

elebrating the past and the present, generations of Bolingbrook residents gathered at various events this weekend to kick off the village’s anniversary celebration. on saturday, June 27, officials dedicated the village’s first police station and village hall, and called attention to the roots of the town many still call home 50 years later. the new Bolingbrook historic museum, 444 e. Briarcliff road, is now officially open and will be available for tours.
