renew, reuse, and recycle— a mantra spoken casually as a means to keep the environment green. but the idea is far from simple when it comes to recycling electronics. new legislation passed by state rep. emily Mcasey and recently signed into law is aimed at increasing electronic product recycling while holding manufacturers accountable and reducing the burden on local governments. as the importance of electronic devices has grown rapidly in daily life, it comes at a price to the environment, explains Mcasey.
