World Champions and now you expect the team to be back in the fall classic soon and win again – but so did the fans in 1908. Don’t take this kind of thing for granted. Buy your T-Shirts, hats and other collectibles while you can. These make especially good gifts for young sports fans that may even be too young to know what happened. But, in 20 years, that fan will be thrilled to have items from a historic event in their lifetime. Some sports fans are past the days of playing the games, but still like to stay educated in the athletic arena and there is no other way than to read about it. There are a few good titles on the shelves now including - 99: Stories of the Game by hockey great Wayne Gretzky, QB: My Life Behind the Spiral by former NFL MVP Steve Young.
– Finding something that you can personalize for the sports fan in your life. One of the coolest out there right now is the ability to customize an officially licensed Topps baseball card with a photo and info of that athlete or former athlete in your life. With several years to choose from, including 2016 the cards can be made for a teenager playing now, or can help resurrect a photo from 1971. – This is for that sports fan you really love as the price will start in the $1,000 range for a basic simulator. That being said, what better gift to give that avid golfer in your life than the ability to golf year round – even in the Midwest. This is a must for that gofer who has everything else in his man cave. – There may not be a better way to make that sports fan in your life happier than sending them to see their favorite team – especially if their favorite team is not a local one. Or maybe you can help them cross off a bucket list and get tickets to a college football bowl game or an NBA, NFL or NHL playoff game.
