From Cosmic Cocktail Making Masterclasses, guided night hikes with torches and a Celtic Christmas Party to starlit delights, radiance at the Alpine Spa and a Cosmic Stardust & Supernova Party, the resort’s celestial happenings are written in the stars.
A Constellation of Seven Masterclasses
Learn from the resort’s masters and take part in a variety of masterclasses; learn the art of a festive show-stopper dish with a Beef Wellington cookery class indulge your senses in an immersive Chocolate Making class, elevate your festive spirit with a Champagne Tasting led by master sommeliers, get insider tips from the in-house florist team with two Floral Masterclasses paired with homemade Christmas treats, embrace a cherished tradition by crafting your own Advent Wreath, and sculpt your own Miniature Christmas Tree, Cosmic Cocktail making class will teach dazzling cocktails inspired by planets and a guided Night Hike will provide a path illuminated by the night sky on the Bürgenberg mountain.

On December 20, 2025, celebrate with a Celtic Christmas Party at Restaurant Taverne featuring a delicious three-course dinner accompanied by traditional Celtic music. The annual festive Bürgenstock Tennis Open powered by LUX Tennis will take place on 27th and 28th December 2025 at the Diamond Domes, two days of thrilling competition and camaraderie. On 7th December, surround yourselves with the sound of Swiss culture through a Handorgelverein Advent Concert with local accordion players from the village of Obbürgen.
Festive Feasts & Dining Experiences
Gather around the Oak Grill for a Christmas Eve dinner filled with a festive four-course menu. Every evening from December 24, 2025, through January 3, 2026, Brasserie Ritzcoffier offers festive feasting with different themed buffets. Brasserie Ritzcoffier will also feature festive brunch on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, each with an abundant menu and live music. The Bürgenstock Resort offers a variety of dining options for New Year’s Eve; enjoy winter flavors at Oak Grill, celebrate with a six-course sharing menu at Spices Kitchen & Terrace, savor a fivecourse menu at Verbena Restaurant, or dine at Brasserie Ritzcoffier for a grand buffet with live cooking.
Written In the Stars: Write Your Memoir
Memories are as unique as the stars. In this Stellar Escape, an award-winning biographer captures guest voices in a beautifully bound memoir. Cosmic Family Adventures
Gather loved ones and celebrate with our Legendary Festive Celebration package that includes a decorated Christmas tree in your room and a private cinema screening complete with festive treats (book here). An extended Splash’n’ Flash from December 22, 2025, through January 4, 2026, is available in both the Alpine Spa and the Waldhotel Spa. On December 6, 2025, Samichlaus will scatter starlit treats, and on Christmas Eve, Santa will descend by funicular bearing gifts. Mocktail, cookie and chocolate making classes encourage youngsters to make their own cosmic creations, while the Bürgenstock Cinema will screen beloved Christmas films for children and adults. From December 1 through December 25, 2025, children can write letters to Santa that will be delivered to his celestial workshop.
Lucerne “Stellar” Happenings
Hop on the Bürgenstock Funicular and onboard the MS Bürgenstock Catamaran for a city escape. A Stellar Show at the Planetarium of the Swiss Museum of Transport takes children on a musical journey into space. Looking for some last- minute gifts? Rudolf Christmas Market in Lucerne offers a galaxy of charming stalls filled with artisan treasures, sample celestial flavours from fondue and raclette huts, and orbit lively entertainment.
