November is dedicated as the Pet's Diabetic Month. To uphold the significance of this month, here is a detailed description about diabetes in dogs. Diabetes in dogs is not much different from that in humans. A lifelong disease – diabetes, threatens the dog’s health. It occurs when the pet’s body does not produce enough insulin as required. Insulin is a hormone that that regulates the sugar levels in the furry pal’s body. The other reason of the onset of chronic disease can be body’s inadequate response to the production of insulin. According to a survey, diabetes is affecting one in every 160 dogs. Diabetes has no cure but it isn’t a reason to panic, but to manage this in the daily lives of the dog.
