Winners of the 2023 BBA!
March 2023 saw the return of the Bucks Book Award Winner's Announcement - the first one since 2020, which coincidentallywaswonbyHollyJacksonfor'AGoodGirl'sGuidetoMurder'!
This year the event was hosted by Aylesbury Grammar School and about 100 students from Aylesbury High, Aylesbury Grammar, Beaconsfield High, The Grange, Sir Henry Floyd, The John Colet and St Mary's School all braved the snow to attend!
The ceremony began with a talk by Buckinghamshire-based Sue Upton, whose trilogy Paper Boats and Butterflies engaged the students throughout It was a great opportunity to hear about Sue's writing process as well as all the researchandhistoricalreferencesbehindthebooks

The talk was followed by 'The Big Bucks Book Award Quiz' which went brilliantly considering the numbers taking part Butitwasalotoffunwithbookprizesforthewinningteam!
