The Buckinghamshire Business Awards returned to the Waterside Theatre on 28th September 2022!

The Buckinghamshire business community came together to celebrate a year of outstanding achievement, especially impressive after the challenges facing companies in the two years since the pandemic. The event was a celebration of the county’s entrepreneurial spirit and a way to recognise the most successful businesses in Buckinghamshire.

Philippa Batting, Managing Director of Buckinghamshire Business First, was delighted to see the return of the awards, one of the most important events in the business calendar.

“After a tough couple of years, it was amazing to see companies from across the county coming together to celebrate their successes.

“The event was a great opportunity for companies and their staff to reflect on their achievements. On behalf of Buckinghamshire Business First, I congratulate all the winners and thank our finalists for the hard work they put into their entries, and for their continued support of Buckinghamshire Business First.

“I would also like to thank our sponsors for their ongoing support of the awards and their commitment to supporting local businesses.”

Origin

The Company of the Year Award is awarded to the business which, in the opinion of the judges, best represents Buckinghamshire in terms of its success, commitment and contribution to the local community and economy.

Origin was founded in 2002 by cousins Neil Ginger and Victoria Brocklesby, after they spotted a gap in the market for high-quality, aluminium bi-folding doors. Since then, Origin has expanded to become the leading British manufacturer of premium doors and windows. The brand is synonymous with quality, innovation, and excellence. Headquartered in High Wycombe, it also has operations in America, the Middle East, and Europe.
