mmh..yummy i have craved garage pie after a night out. to be honest i get incredibly hungry, so ravenous when i am drunk and the only things that have managed to fill the black hole forming in me is garage pie and uncle faouzi's fries. there is always a line outside faouzi's or i would be in less than particulars with my pockets (just woke up btw), so garage pie it is. it lowkey upsets me when they don't have pepper steak pie, i can't stomach a sausage roll on a night out {also, shout out to immune boosters}, they taste like shit at night. but yessss, garage pie.

Tampopo, directed by Juzo Itami is a story about a truck driver helping a woman improve her ramen in order to save her struggling ramen shop. The film is a tale of passion, food and the dedication to one's craft. Spliced in between the main story are vignettes in which food is the drives the characters and the narratve. I had a friend. A guy friend. I say had because we had sex and he's decided that he that that is the extent of which he's choosing to relate to me. Is this why you never have sex with your friends. I liked talking about nothing. His playlists would occassionally bang, I'll give him that. I need to be more honest with my friends, I now realise.Why can't we be friends? I simply don't understand. I miss my friend. I don't fuck with the guy I fucked. I don't like the guy I had sex with at all. I hate that he's stolen my friend from me. I hate that I have to avoid places or participate in this silent sort of "nonchalant olympics" that seems to be standard procedure for these kind of things. At the same time, it feels terrible to not be truly desired. I gave and that still was't enough to be wanted. Maybe I hate the guy I fucked because he didn't end up wanting me.
