MARY HITE’S ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION AT ARUNDEL

Another year has passed and it’s time, once again, for my Annual Art Exhibition in Arundel.

I will be selling my Original Paintings, Cards and Limited-Edition Prints from Saturday 5th August to Friday 11th August 2023, from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm at the Norfolk Centre, Mill Road, Arundel, BN18 9PA.

I have been painting since I was a schoolgirl and obtained excellent marks at art in my school exams. Soon after I left school I married, and was lucky enough to have four sons. Not surprisingly, painting then took a ‘back seat’!

In the 1980’s I started painting again and joined several art societies, becoming chairman of one of them. After a few years a friend of mine who lived in Felpham, invited me to join her to display and sell our paintings in her house. We soon started an annual exhibition in Arundel but, due to changed circumstances, I have been on my own, with my husband, at the Norfolk Centre for the last few years.

I will, again, be exhibiting a wide variety of paintings, some of which reflect our extensive travelling. Detailed scenes of the River Arun at Littlehampton, and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House are just some of my recent subjects for sale. Entrance is free but a donation may be made to Cancer Research. I enjoy meeting people and believe that I have excellent art at affordable prices on display.
