ArMEd FOrCES vETErANS’ BAdGES
HAvE yOU SErvEd IN THE BrITISH ArMEd FOrCES?
All who served in the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, were they regular, national servicemen or reservists, are eligible to receive the veterans’ Badge.

The Badges are free and issued from the Ministry of defence Service Personnel and veterans’ Agency, as a mark of the country’s gratitude for the valuable contribution made over the years in preserving our way of life.
If a serviceman or servicewoman has not yet applied for one, they can do so and have it publically presented at the Bognor regis Armed Forces’ day on Sunday 17th June. recipients will be given a special day out, starting with a vIP reception at the rAFA Club in waterloo Square for them and a guest.
This year there will be a special focus on those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. That does not mean those who served in other conflicts, from wwII onwards, should not apply.
Application Forms are available from the rAF Association in waterloo Square during normal opening hours (11.30 am to 11.00 pm from Monday to Saturday, closing at 8pm on Sunday) or by emailing david.hewings333@btinternet.com david Hewings, Armed Forces day Committee, Bognor regis.
Forms should be completed and returned to the rAFA Club by Friday 19th May, addressed to the AFd Liaison Officer, c/o The rAF Association, waterloo Square, Bognor regis, west Sussex PO21 1TE. The applications will then be sent to the Mod Agency for processing in time for the presentation.
