● If you need to leave during the school day this will only be authorised in response to a written request from parents/guardians or for other good and sufficient reason. An exception to this rule is made for students in Years 12 and 13 who may leave school over the lunch time.

All students should sign in and out of school at the school reception. ● If you need to attend a medical or other appointment in any year group there must be a note/email from home to confirm this. ● If you are sick you must see the school nurse before leaving the premises. ● You are expected to attend school for entire terms, the dates of which are published at least a year in advance. Leave of absence will be granted only for compassionate or other urgent reasons. Requests for leave of absence must be made as far in advance as possible. ● Walk safely in school corridors. ● Pupils should keep to the right in stairwells and also in corridors. ● In general, you should not wear jewellery in school, for safety reasons. If you have pierced ears you should wear small stud earrings, but they should be removed or covered during

PE lessons. Inappropriate jewellery such as large rings, necklaces, including choker necklaces, bracelets or large earrings should never be worn.
