495 9TH STREET This project, located in the quiet heart of Park Slope, presented the challenge of updating and converting two historic brownstone buildings into ďŹ ve modern condominiums.

Our team worked meticulously to restore these two homes while preserving the structural integrity and Brooklyn roots of the neighborhood. By gut renovating the two addresses jointly, our team was able to elevate the previously-cramped units into gorgeous, sprawling double-wide living spaces, complete with entirely new structural work, exposed brick, replaced beams, new plumbing and electrical services, master bedroom suites, elegant kitchens, luxurious bathrooms, garden patios, roof terraces, updated brownstone facades and more.

We took detailed care to ensure that, from the sidewalk, the building retained its prewar 1920s charm, but, as you'll see from the photos, the interior completed condos are state-of-the-art, modern living spaces that we are proud to add to our portfolio.

901 Saint Marks Ave With this project, our client requested a revitalizing lift to a Crown Heights family homestead of 70 years.

Located on the prestigious St. Mark’s Millionaire’s Row, this 4,000 square-foot limestone townhome is one of many such expansive row homes on the block. The property, built in 1905, had not been touched in nearly 50 years, so our primary objective was to honor the client’s restoration vision while preserving the stunning Renaissance Revival architecture and former glory of this richly historic home.

Our mission here was, foremost, to protect. Our team worked immaculately, maintaining the integrity of the house while stripping old flooring and installing beautiful new parquet wood, adding meticulous touches of fresh paint, and lifting the home interiors. The ornate original detailing in the home remains intact, from stained glass windows to Corinthian columns, exposed beam ceilings to customleaded glass cabinetry, decorative fireplaces to the sprawling grand staircase.

87 3RD PLACE This lovely family home is one of many Carroll Gardens brownstones originally built at the turn of the 20th century. The private owners requested a renovation that would refresh their rooms and add light throughout the house, giving their space a lift without the inconvenience of a complete gut remodel.

This renovation required our ability to complete work while the clients lived and remained in their home, and our professional team took great care to ensure the safety and neatness of the worksite while maintaining quality standards and efficiency. We replaced the old floors with light wood and tile, refreshed the entire kitchen and modernized appliances, while also updating electrical work, paneling and molding. We also took the opportunity to sculpt the front yard and back patio, reface the brownstone exterior and finish the basement, adding an additional room to the house.

You can see in photos that, through this combination of room guts and feature remodels, we were able to lift the previously dark interiors and create a light-filled, airy and welcoming Brooklyn home.
