KING’S CORONATION CELEBRATION

As part of our Coronation celebrations in the school, we were proud to deliver a whole school assembly led by Year 13s about the significance of this historical event. Every student in the school also received a keepsake wooden coin and a coronation themed cupcake. In addition to this, we hosted a Coronation Tea party on Friday 5th May, which was attended by ten students from each year group. These students were put forward by their Heads of Year because they did the following:

• Those who contribute to the wider school community

• Recognition of achievements outside of school

• Exemplifies the Brentford Girl vision and school values all the time

This was a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate some of the students in our year groups that don’t always get the praise and recognition they deserve, so we wanted to remind them how much they are valued as part of the BSfG community.
