The Kansas City Zoo welcomed new red panda triplets into their sanctuary.

Pat Larkin was recognized as the first Shining Star of the Community during the halftime broadcast of the Blue Springs vs. Raytown Football Game on August 30 by VisionSports.

The Blue Springs Historical Society hosted another sucessful Taste of Blue Springs on August 17.

Jim and Trisha Kennedy of Kennedy’s Custom Jewelers were honored with the Missouri Municipal League West Gate Division Civic Leadership .

The idea came to me back in January of 2017. Just watching the news one morning someone had just opened their 7th donut shop.

So I started to think. How difficult is it to make donuts?

With the support of my family, using them as taste testers, I started my journey. Who knew just 3 months later we would have a product so unique and flavorful that folks would line up for it! We’ve come a long way from hosting our “weekend pop-up shops”. Now we have a storefront and have broadened our menu to include Keto friendly treats and specialty drinks as well. What’s next for OMG? Sky’s the limit!”

OMG Donuts is located at 710 W Main St, Ste K, Blue Springs MO, 64015. They are open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 6:30am - 1:00pm; Thursdays from 8:00am - 12:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am - 1:00pm. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

If not, this Lunch and Learn is for you. Join us to enhance your communication skills , learn to influence with intention and improve the culture and well being of your work environment. We’ll review Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and discuss why people do some of the things they do.

Handout material will be provided but please bring other items to take notes. Following the class, an individual appointment with the presenter can be set up for a two-hour personalized evaluation at your office at no charge.

Lunch is $12 per person for Blue Springs Chamber members and $17 for nonmembers, payable to Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce. It will include heavy appetizersand ice tea/water.
